Definition: Uncle Tom;

Uncle Tom is a pejorative for an African American who is perceived by others as behaving in a subservient manner to White American authority figures, or as seeking ingratiation with them by way of unnecessary accommodation. The term Uncle Tom comes from the title character of Harriet Beecher Stowe’s novel Uncle Tom’s Cabin, although there is debate over whether the character himself is deserving of the pejorative attributed to him.[1]

Here, you have a prime minister who totally mis-managed a military conflict, is under police investigation for his possible role in at least three corruption scandals and is moving to hand over East Jerusalem, Har HaBayit, the Kotel and nearly all of Yehuda and Shomron to Islamic terrorists in order to decapitate the Jewish rosh from Israelis, even at the immense cost of Jewish life. Barely anyone in this self-interested Knesset lifts a finger, not even the so-called religious parties, to stop Olmert and put an end not only to his current regime, but to Israel’s entire system of corrupt governance. read more

The false “peace messiah” is, as Engel describes below, and more. This false belief is being foisted upon unerudite secular, who not religiously connected or rooted, by the political protexia class who seizes upon division of the sectors toward it’s own ends; Israel’s severance from anything Jewishly-connected.

Engel is on the mark regarding the false “peace messiah.” These false imposters pose as dire a threat to the Jewish people as did Shabtai Tzvi and are deserving of the same discredited fate. MB read more

It seems as if Israel’s leftist protexia class has hit on a new way to discredit those who love the Land of Israel, namely playing into Arab false rumor-mongering and Pallywood productions by slashing Arab water pipelines and then reporting the slashed pipelines to Israel’s leftist electronic media, blaming Jewish residents for the deed. Haim Ramon is very definitely NOT an ideologue. He and Olmert are part of the Israeli protexia class who consider themselves above all law and all legal due process. So here we are with Israeli policy being driven by an ideologue (Ramon) who thinks that withdrawal would herald utopian peace, a politician (Olmert) trying to avoid an indictment and a planning horizon even shorter than Sharon’s and an FM (Livni) who enjoys pontificating about Israel’s requirements for the diplomatic process which in practice she ignores, along with an American Secretary of State convinced she can give out marching orders to Jerusalem and an American president who seems to think that if you say someone is a great “moderate Palestinian leader” who can deliver the goods enough times that the endorsement will somehow transform reality.
