“15 Kadima MKs Oppose Golan Withdrawal,” No Unequivocal Opposition

.
Commentary;

One surmises a lot of hot air being blown in the Kadima party. Is there even one Kadima MK willing to bolt the party over the proposition of a Golan Withdrawal? They seem as equally lame a bunch as Shas and their opening position of leaving the government over Jerusalem talks. And we all know what happened to that pledge — as worthless as spent toiletpaper.

There is no backbone, no character and not an ounce of moral intergrity to be found amongst any of the Kadima MKs, nor can any be found amongst roughly 118 of 120 Knesset members. read more

Olmert Plays on MKs’ Greed, Lust for Power Continuance; No Need for Etrog

.

Commentary;

If there is still any shred of doubt regarding the moral integrity, or lack thereof, and the priorities of nearly all Israeli MKs as portrayed in this blog’s numerous posts, this article should go a long way toward dispelling it.

Here, you have a prime minister who totally mis-managed a military conflict, is under police investigation for his possible role in at least three corruption scandals and is moving to hand over East Jerusalem, Har HaBayit, the Kotel and nearly all of Yehuda and Shomron to Islamic terrorists in order to decapitate the Jewish rosh from Israelis, even at the immense cost of Jewish life. Barely anyone in this self-interested Knesset lifts a finger, not even the so-called religious parties, to stop Olmert and put an end not only to his current regime, but to Israel’s entire system of corrupt governance. read more

The Mark of Zero Israeli National Self-Esteem: Arab MKs Remain in Knesset While Plotting Against Israel

Tibi Attends Jenin March, by Roee Nahmias (Ynet)

“The Palestinian people wants peace…”: Knesset Member Ahmad Tibi

Excerpts;

Five years after IDF’s Operation Defensive Shield in Jenin, dozens of gunmen march through streets of Jenin refugee camp dressed up in suicide explosive belts and wearing IDF uniforms. MK Ahmad Tibi calls for an end to the occupation.

Dozens of armed men participated on Tuesday in a procession marking five years since the IDF’s Operation Defensive Shield, during which over 50 Palestinians were killed in the Jenin refugee camp. Among the participants were Islamic Jihad members dressed up as suicide bombers and children wearing military uniforms and carrying real firearms. Speakers at the event included Knesset Member Ahmad Tibi (United Arab List-Ta’al) and Zakariya Zbeidi, a senior official in Fatah’s al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade. read more

Knesset Moves to Speed up Law Banning Terror-Supporting MKs

Full Text;

A Knesset committee has approved the speeding up of the process of passing National Religious Party Chairman Zevulun Orlev’s proposed bill, according to which, Knesset members who express support for terrorists are banned from running for Knesset in subsequent elections.

The government coalition supported the move to speed up the passing of the law. The law will be voted upon in its preliminary reading next week.

“Particularly during these days, when our soldiers are fighting against terrorists,” Orlev explained, “there are expressions of … MKs identifying, supporting and encouraging terrorist groups like Hamas and it is therefore urgent that the legal process be sped up.” On Monday, the Knesset defeated motions of no confidence brought by a number of Arab parties over Israel’s anti-terror campaign in the Gaza Strip. read more
