When IY’H the day comes when Israelis fulfill their obligation, V’Ahavta L’Re’echa Komocha, to Olim Chadashim, Barak knows that he, Olmert and all of the rest of the protexia, bureaucratic and governmental cronyism class will be ousted from governance. They will be replaced by a faith-based government based on Jewish love, unity and B’nai Yisrael as an Am Segula — as a Unique people, seperate and different from the Nations, and not as Yossi Beilin and his leftist, protexia ilk of which Olmert, Barak, Ramon and, yes Bibi too are part, so crave; “a normal state living… with its neighbors.” MB read more

Eldad is right. There is only one way to evade this trap. But, regretfully Moshe Feiglin is NOT the head of Likud and there is NO OTHER LEADER capable of bucking the collective Israeli MK syndrome of
“glue on the seat” lack of principle, lack of profile in courage.

It is left for us, the people. The “Ukrainian Model” of 24/7 and bringing Israel to a screeching halt at all levels. This is the only thing which will compel both the toppling of Ehud Olmert’s “protexia class” governing crowd and drastic changes in the methods and mechanics of governance in Israel. MB read more

Undoubtedly, almost everyone has heard by now about the alleged connection between Ehud Olmert and one Morris Talansky, aka “the laundryman,” a noted Long Island philanthropist and fund-raiser for Israeli charities.

While this blog has chosen not to play pundit and conjecture as to whether this “alleged” scandal will finally be the one to take the “teflon etrog” Ehud Olmert down, the Ynet piece below ought to surely get a lot of working-stiff Yosef Q. Israelis living at or near poverty-level fired up, and not only at Olmert but at the luxury with which senior Israeli politcos, such as President Shimon Peres or Ehud Barak or Bibi Netanyahu too, are treated (in exchange for what?) on someone else’s tab. One of the main themes underlying Parsha Kedoshim is the loving care with which each Jew is to treat his Jewish brother.
