This blog has posted two items concerning what seems emerging as a close relationship between Fatah and Al-Qaida such that “Egyptian intelligence chief Gen. Omar Suleiman, Masha’al said Dahlan and his allies were working with Al Qaida-aligned groups to undermine Hamas in the Gaza Strip.”
Now, from this AP report, it emerges that Hamas, the evil, vile terrorist killers that they are, apparently have at least held by a principle, at least where it relates to Al-Qaida;

Commentary;
The well-meaning opinion writer below is engaging in wishful thinking and grabbing at straws — undoubtedly NOT something that the Freedom for Jonathan Pollard movement wants to be involved or associated with.
The writer himself revisits history in noting that Peres was [unelected] prime minister at the time of Pollard’s capture and encarceration.
Peres has a documented record of not letting the truth; his failures, i.e. his relationship with Arafat, his manipulation of Oslo upon the Jewish people, and the resultant abandonment of sizeable parts of Jewish land to the Arabs. He has never once admitted or been contrite for the error, the total folly of his ways, despite all of the loss of Jewish lives and the injuring and maiming of countless numbers of Jews.

Israeli police underwent special training for an assault on thousands of protesters during the demolition of nine homes in a Jewish community in the West Bank in 2006.
A senior Israeli police officer testified that 1,300 troops were told to club, trample and gas protesters, most of them teenagers, who sought to block the demolition of nine unlicensed Jewish homes in Amona in February 2005 [2006]. The troops, who trained for up to four days, used clubs and horses to injure 300 protesters, some of them seriously, despite the assessment that resistance would be passive.
