Police Brutality in Amona: Compendium
The Hypocracy of Supreme Court Agenda …
Mr. Double Standard?, Evelyn Gordon
Excerpts;
“Anyone bewildered by last Wednesday’s violence at Amona ought to read the High Court of Justice ruling on Azmi Bishara issued that same day. Most people undoubtedly consider violence immoral. But when no less an institution than the Supreme Court proclaims that advocating violence constitutes part of a Knesset member’s legitimate duties, it is hardly surprising that a minority has become convinced that Israeli society condones and rewards it.”
Unity: Kibbutzniks and The Chevron Jewish Community!
Left comes to Hebron, By Judy Lash Balint
Excerpts;
“While events in Amona seem destined to accentuate the great divide between secular Israelis and the national-religious public, an astonishing event in Hebron some days ago brought together these two sectors of Israeli society generally portrayed by the media as being strongly antagonistic toward one another.”
“…Several hundred kibbutz members, secular professors and members of secular Labor Zionist youth movements took part in a first-of-its-kind solidarity conference in Hebron. But this ground-breaking confluence of secular socialists and religious settlers took place with absolutely no media coverage. While politicians and rabbis constantly talk about the need for unity, no one seems to pay any attention when it actually occurs.”

New Pollard Petition Filed In US Supreme Court
![]()
Excerpts;
“We have today filed a petition, on behalf of our pro bono client Jonathan Pollard, for a writ of certiorari with the United States Supreme Court. We have asked the Supreme Court to review the two-to-one split decision rendered by the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit which refused to allow us, Mr. Pollard’s security-cleared attorneys, access to the classified portions of the district court’s sentencing docket.”

Olmert: Disengagement Didn’t Strengthen Hamas
Full Text;
“‘Hamas was strong before the disengagement; there is no connection between disengagement and Hamas’s win,’ Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Tuesday night in an interview with Nissim Mishal on Channel 2.”
“Olmert called the Likud an ‘extreme right-wing’ party, whose policies allowed no possibility for change.”
“The Likud approach, Olmert said, would present a scenario of endless struggles, in which Israel would find itself alone in the world.”
