Does the Comptroller’s Report Only Address Unpreparedness in the North, or Nationwide?

Commentary;

In a recent previous quote, this blog asked this question regarding the Comptroller’s report on the unpreparedness of the Home Front Command during last summer’s Lebanon conflict; Are there two Home Front Commands; one for the north which is being remediated, and one for the south which is being TOTALLY NEGLECTED?

The news report below provides evidence that this might indeed be the case. MB

Less Money for Protection of Jews, More Money to Bomb Empty Fields?

Commentary;

PM’s Office Director General Raanan Dinor:

“Abandon… providing protection to every citizen …. Instead…, the money… can be used for active operations, such as attacks against rocket launchers.”

Does this mean real attacks on rocket launchers, wherever they may be and even behind human shield? Or does it mean more “hit them very, very hard” = hitting empty fields? We probably know the answer to that one. MB

Barak of IRIS has once again come through big-time regarding two of the three biggest threats facing Israel. These threats are not Hamas, not Abbas, not Hezbollah, not Syria, not even Irans’s Ahmadinejad.

Will Comptroller’s Report Have Clout? Will an Independent Commission, Prosecutions Emerge?

Commentary;

Will today’s state comptroller’s report have teeth, clout?? Will it trigger the Knesset State Control Committee’s empowerment by law to order the appointment of a Judicial Commission of Inquiry on the Lebanon conflict?

The regime’s “senior defense officials said Tuesday that the country was prepared, ‘more than ever,’ for another war.” * They claim that;

Olmert Regime: Paradigm of Unbridled Betrayal of the Governed

Commentary:

Caroline Glick characterizes the regime’s latest appeasement and surrender as a joke on Us. Anyone with a grain of intelligence and independence of though would have to agree.

By regime, this author means an entire politcal governing generation, with exceptions only counted on one hand; rotten, dishonest appeasors and corrupt to their very core.

The purest example of the latest appeasement and surrender is Olmert’s demand of Abbas that he not talk to Hamas. Anyone who really thinks that Abbas will refrain from any further contact with Hamas now that Olmert has given in to all of his demands, then I”ve got a bridge to sell you cheap!! For further proof of the emptiness of Olmert’s demand of Abbas to stay away from Hamas, click on these two eye-opening pieces from Barak of IRIS, here and here. MB read more
