“’Both of us know the defense establishment finished 2005 with funds remaining in the coffer,’ wrote Riffman in his letter.”

“Negev officials explain that NIS 95 million of a NIS 210 million earmarked for protection have yet to be released by the national government while rocket attacks against the communities have become a daily occurrence.” read more

Parsha Va’era 5766: Relating to the “Center” in Israel

At the conclusion of Parsha Shemos, Moshe and Aaron are confronted, upon exiting Pharoh’s Palace, by the B’nai Yisrael who are in deeper despair than before because of the increased workload which resulted from Pharoh’s fury at Moshe’s first effort to secure their freedom and exit from Mitzrayim.

Our Parsha begins with the dialogue which Moshe Rebbeinu has with Hashem prior to again speaking to the B’nai Yisrael. And so, after Hashem rebukes Moshe for his complaint and reassures him that redemption is at hand, Moshe again addresses the B’nai Yisrael as to his meeting with Pharoh. read more

Commentary;

We have to come to grips with the fact that Chevron is ours, period! And Olmert is trying to Out-Sharon Sharon to prove himself to the left. This author holds that Olmert is only concerned about Olmert — whatever it takes for power, his Jewish brothers and the land of Israel, Israeli Security, perhaps even manhood, self-pride and esteem as a Jew are expedient in his lust and hunger for power. With all due respect, this author finds him totally lacking any Jewish heart or sensitivity. read more
