Bibi’s NO Better Than Olmert

.

Commentary;

It may be that Binyamin Netanyahu “could fix” “the situation in the western Negev” but, in reality, he’s not one iota better than Olmert.

The last lines in Gil Hoffman’s are telling;

He [Netanyahu] said that all of Jerusalem must remain in Israeli hands, to prevent it from falling to Hamas and to keep it safe for people from around the world.

“To prevent it from falling to Hamas and to keep it safe for people from around the world” — not a word about the holiness of Jerusalem. There is nothing in what Bibi said relating to Jerusalem as our eternal heart, that Jerusalem, that Har Habayit is the very seed and root of the Jewish people. read more

Will Olmert Regime Back Down on Givat Ze’ev, Stiff Shas?

.
Commentary;

There is a type of “convergence” of several major stories of this time into one;

Olmert, facing pressure from “the nations” coupled with self-hatred for Jewishness and overwhelming lust for perpetuation of his prime ministerial power, will back down on Givat Ze’ev just as sure as he backed down on mounting a credible invasion of Gaza, just as he backed down on connecting Ma’alei Adumim to Jerusalem, just as he invaded Lebanon hodge-podge, not to win, in July 2006. read more

Olmert: Another Spineless, National Humiliating Backdown

.
Commentary;

The reports and commentaries below prove conclusively this blog’s assertion of a hodge-podge, hit-or-miss set of aims and goals regarding the elimination of rocket and mortar attacks from Gaza. They prove conclusively that the regime’s true aims and goals fall far beneath TOTAL Victory and vanquishment of an enemy sworn to vanquish, decimate and eradicate us. MB

Regime Posturing and Backing Down: It’s Beyond Embarrassing

.

Commentary;

The repeated saber-rattling of the Olmert-Livni-Barak regime has long-since passed way beyond embarrassing. Each episode of saber-rattling, of talking the talk, is inevitably followed shortly thereafter by these incompetent, self-serving political hacks backing down out of fear, intimidation by, and subserviance to the superpower. Without a belief-based rooting, these irreligious so-called “leaders” are thus disabused of “walking the walk.”

And so what results is, as with the Lebanon conflict, a hodge-podge, hit-or-miss set of aims and goals far beneath TOTAL Victory and vanquishment of the enemy sworn to vanquish and decimate us. As this blog has repeatedly noted, the goal of the regime is to bring international forces to Gaza, as with Lebanon. And, as any thinking person knows; international “peacekeeping” forces lack total credibility based on past record. read more

From the 2000 Camp David Summit: Barak’s Jerusalem Division Map

Commentary;

This author, and many others, have received this message from Pini Itzchaky, advisor to Shas Chaver Knesset Atias, in response to the ongoing email bombardment of Shas MKs demanding that they leave the Olmert regime;

The Prime Minister, Ehud Olmert: “It has been said and agreed between me and between the head of the Palestinian Authority Abu Mazen, that Jerusalem that is an important and emotional subject. We will not start this emotional negotiation, which could bring to failure of the talks. We postponed the TIPUL of Jerusalem until the last stage.” read more

From The Horse’s Mouth: “Abbas: We’re Negotiating Over Jerusalem”

.
Commentary;

Eli Yishai, Shas Party, Rav Ovadia; How much clearer can it get? Here we have Pa. President Mahmud Abbas proclaiming for all to hear;

“We’re Negotiating Over Jerusalem”

Abbas doesn’t even bother speaking out one version to Western media and another version in Islam. He’s saying right out;

“The negotiating process has begun and it involved all of the ‘core issues’—the issue of borders, the issue of refugees, and the issue of Jerusalem.” read more

Parsha Tetzaveh 5768 — The Urim U’Tummim and Divine Inspiration

.
by Moshe Burt

In our Parsha Tetzaveh, the laws regarding the annointment, the vestments and the Avodah (service) of the Kohanim are enunciated for the Jewish people.

While preparing this Parsha HaShavua, this author came across a puzzling quote in Torah Gems by Aharon Yaakov Greenberg on our Parsha.

The quote which is cited (pg 192) relating to perek 28, parsha 15; “And you will make the breastplate of judgement with the work of an artisan…” and is attributable to someone called “Akeidah” reads; read more

Political Fallout From Olmert/Livni Jerusalem Division: Shas Stays Put

.

Commentary;

There is apparently no movement yet by the Shas party to leave Olmert’s coalition despite yesterday’s stark revelation of the truth, as posted here, that Olmert and Livni are brazenly dividing up Jerusalem in secret, behind closed, secure doors. One can only hope R’Ovadia reads the papers and is now able to see through the political con-job being perpetrated by Shas’ leaders. MB

PM Olmert: Admit Damage You’ve Done to Israel and Resign

.

Hat tip to Manhigut Yehudit for picture.

Commentary;

Ehud Olmert has done devastating damage to the nation of Israel and yet struts around struts around extolling the virtues of the disaster which he and his other stooges; Livni, Peretz, Halutz, etc., and Arik Sharon before him, set in motion beginning with the Expulsion of Jews from Gush Katif, the police riot in Amona, the kidnapping of the three young soldiers, the Lebanon conflict and the constant terror of Sderot and the Negev from Gaza. read more

Philadelphi Corridor, International Troops in Gaza, Yesha, … and Jerusalem?

.
IDF Considers Retaking Philadelphi, by Yaakov Katz (Jerusalem Post)

Commentary;

The above headline carries a gross misconception. IDF doesn’t shave, let alone retake an area vital to Israel’s security without approval, however tentative and hesitant, by political echelons [strong emphasis on political.]

Just as Olmert, Barak and their lackies waffle repeatedly regarding a “possible” Gaza invasion and energy sactions, so too, expect a lot of waffling and equivocation regarding the security of the Jewish people which necessitates retaking of the Philadelphi corridor. read more
