The scamming of Israel by Mahmoud Abbas is to be expected. But can feigned ignorance by Olmert regarding the potential for scam, both with regard to the transfer of millions of USD in previously frozen tax transfers and the release and amnesty given hundreds of former PA terror prisoners be seen as complicit in the entire scam regarding these “gestures” to Abbas knowing full well the Abbas, Fatah, Hamas track-record??

It never ceases to amaze this author how, on the eve of an Olmert, Abbas meeting, this time on Monday in Yericho, things suddenly become peaceful — no Kassams launched from Gaza, no IAF raids, no arrests, no snipping or stoning attacks on roads in Yehuda and Shomron, no infiltrations into Israel, no explosive devices thrown at IDF soldiers near Shechem; nothing, absolute quiet since Saturday night.

256 Palestinian security prisoners started arriving at the Beitunya checkpoint, between Givat Ze’ev and Ramallah, at about 10 a.m. Friday morning after being released from Ketziot Prison in the western Negev.

Commentary:

Caroline Glick characterizes the regime’s latest appeasement and surrender as a joke on Us. Anyone with a grain of intelligence and independence of though would have to agree.

By regime, this author means an entire politcal governing generation, with exceptions only counted on one hand; rotten, dishonest appeasors and corrupt to their very core.

The purest example of the latest appeasement and surrender is Olmert’s demand of Abbas that he not talk to Hamas. Anyone who really thinks that Abbas will refrain from any further contact with Hamas now that Olmert has given in to all of his demands, then I”ve got a bridge to sell you cheap!!
