But Ehud: No Governing Coalition Yet!

Kadima and Labor: Signed and Sealed

When it happens, an Olmert regime will be but one issue-oriented, like what the Sharon Government evolved into. And their assertion about Bush, US understanding — Totally bogus! MB

Litzman Tries to Alibi Away UTJ’s Role in Expulsion from Gush Katif, Shomron …

MK Litzman: UTJ Objects to Olmert’s Convergence Plan

Full Text;

In an interview with Arutz Sheva Radio today, Knesset Member Yaakov Litzman of United Torah Judaism said that his party objects to the Convergence Plan put forward by Ehud Olmert and Kadima. As for the UTJ’s membership in the Sharon administration, which carried out the unilateral withdrawal from Gaza and northern Samaria, Litzman says that it came about only after it was clear that the plan was to be carried out with or without their membership in the coalition. This blog generally does not give coverage to the insane, maniacal mutterings of an avowed enemy who says one thing in English and another thing in Arabic, makes outrageous and bogus accusations against Israel such as that they sabotaged Gaza by first accusing Israel of contaminating the land in Gaza after the “disengagement”, then accusing Israel of starving them by keeping the crossings closed and now, most recently that the Jews are behind US Christianity, Danish Cartoons and 9/11. read more

Beneath the Kadima Mindset; Rabin in Reverse: If They’re Not Good Boys, We’ll Just Give Them More …

Column One: ‘Let’s Ignore Hamas’, by Caroline Glick

Excerpts;

HAMAS’S RISE to power renders it all but impossible to deny the connection between the insurgency in Iraq and the global jihad in general and the Palestinian war with Israel. Indeed, in his first statement as foreign minister, Mahmoud Zahar attacked the US claiming, “America is committing big crimes against the Arab and Islamic countries.”

Yet as Hamas prepares for war on all levels, Israel is about to form a government led either by Kadima or Labor whose politicians insist on pretending that there is no problem here. Kadima’s plan to remove Israeli communities and IDF forces from Judea and Samaria is based on an abject refusal to admit that the areas abandoned will be taken over by Hamas. Furthermore, as Olmert has repeatedly stated, Kadima refuses to acknowledge that Hamas is even a threat to Israel. read more
