Guilt-Ridden PM Olmert, DM Peretz, “Palestinian (sic)” Lives Take Preference Over Israeli Lives!

Commentary 1;

In a war with cowardly murderers who, as have their predecessors, a long, documented history of tactically hiding behind civilians, accidents can and have happened. And the IDF, for all of it’s other faults, takes care to a fault concerning non-combatants in planning retaliatory attacks, attacks on rocket launcers, etc.

In fighting such a foe, a foe which tactically uses civilians for cover, who orchestrates “pallywood” death productions and manufactures events, often killing their own civilians in order to hang the bogus accusations upon Israel; when all necessary care is taken in planning military actions such as to negate, or at worst minimize civilian casualties, one need not feel guilty, one need not hang their head in shame when mishaps occur. read more

Parsha Korach 5766: Leadership; National Responsibility vs Rationale of Self-Interest

by, Moshe Burt

The Sefer “Torah Gems” by Aharon Yaakov Greenberg states the following thought; “Now took Korach…”; that Korach was blessed with many positive attributes: fine lineage, wisdom, qualities worthy of a leader of B’nai Yisrael. “‘Now took Korach — he took himself.’ He did not wait until he was offered the leadership, but he sought to take it by force. That is why he is not worthy of it.” (Torah Gems, by Aharon Yaakov Greenberg, Parsha Korach, Volume 3, page 79.) read more

“Olmert is Giving Up All of Jerusalem”: Caroline Glick

Column One: Olmert’s Plan for Jerusalem, by Caroline Glick

Excerpts;

Olmert apparently thinks that partitioning the city will secure the Jewish majority of the city. Yet, taking these neighborhoods out of the city will actually endanger that majority.

Over the past few months, a team of American and Israeli researchers conducted a demographic study of Jerusalem and its environs. Last year the same researchers – Bennett Zimmerman, Roberta Seid, Michael Weiss and Yoram Ettinger – conducted the first independent study of the Palestinian population data published by the PA’s Central Bureau of Statistics in 1997. Their study exposed that the PA had inflated the number of Palestinians in Judea, Samaria and Gaza by some 1.5 million or 50 percent. Olmert and his colleagues in Kadima and the Labor Party have justified their plan to surrender Judea and Samaria to Hamas on the basis of these inflated numbers which falsely project that by 2015 there will be more Arabs than Jews between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. read more

Back to the Past: Jews Running Scared from S’derot Like Generations in Chutz L’Aretz? Is S’derot, the Negev on Olmert’s Chopping Block?

Commentary #1

These stories may not seem related, but just maybe they are. Something to think about? Could this be what when former NSC Chairman Major General Giora Eiland had in mind in suggesting to ” … Compensate Egypt with 150 square kilometers in the southern Negev …”?

BBC: Gaza Rockets Real Threat to Israel

Get The Kids Out of Sderot

Excerpt;

I’m sure the Education Ministry, together with a bit of the volunteering spirit that has yet to completely disappear from Israeli society, could help organize a much calmer summer for hundreds of kids than the one they are expecting. The “message” of such a plan would not be to flex our national muscles. Rather, it would show simple, human and obvious concern for the welfare of children who see through the lies that “we are doing our best” as they continue to shake with fear. read more

Expulsion Cost $USD 2 Billlion; As Ricky Watters Once Said: “For Who, For What?”

Expulsion Cost $2 Billion–So Far

Full Text;

A Finance Ministry official has revealed that the cost of the expulsion program has cost $2 billion and will rise. “The costs just keep mounting,” said deputy budget director Harel Belinda. He also described the problem of unemployment among the expulsion victims as a “ticking bomb.”

The plight of the former Gaza region and northern Samaria residents is exacerbated by the government’s fear of submitting amendments because factions on the right and left would try to change the law. “The government will have to withdraw the law if any changes proposed by MKs are made to it. This would be catastrophic for us since we’ll find ourselves helpless in the face of the distress of the evacuees,” warned Ra’anan Dinur, director general of the office of the Prime Minister. read more

Parsha Beha’aloscha 5766 — Showing Proper HaKaras HaTov

by, Moshe Burt

Our Parsha speaks about the reasons for the separate section delineated by the inverted “nuns” — “When the Aron (the Ark) would journey, Moshe said, ‘Arise Hashem, and let your foes be scattered, let those who hate you flee from before you.’ And when it rested, he would say, ‘Reside tranquilly, O, Hashem, among the myriad thousands of Israel.'” (Sefer Bamidbar, Perek 10, posukim 35-36) read more

In Israel, Vested Interests Trumps Caring for Fellow Jews …

In the tradition of Malcolm Hoenlein who sat on the truth regarding William Tenet’s position on Jonathan Pollard for 6 years, Jonathan Bassi and Major General Giora Eiland have now denounced the Sharon/Olmert government actions “disengagement” from Gush Katif as well as, in Eiland’s case, Olmert’s, convergence (or is that consolidation, or perhaps realignment) plan. Tamir Asks Rabbis Help With Pullout School Program

Education Minister Yuli Tamir met with religious Zionist rabbis on Wednesday, asking them to help in the design of an educational program that would teach students of the process and effects of the 2005 disengagement from the Gaza Strip and northern Samaria.

She believed that such a program could help students face Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s realignment plan, according to Israel Radio.

She added that an educational citizenship program in the coming year would help students understand the democratic processes involved in an evacuation. read more
