Police stopped a bus at Latrun Junction on Tuesday that was carrying students to a planned protest outside the prime minister’s residencein Jerusalem.
In the buses, police discovered 12 tires and a container with 10 liters of gasoline, as well as 2 torches.
The items were confiscated by police and the students continued on their way to the protest.

In learning about the laws of tzara’as, we find posukim which are a pelah, a wonderment.
Torah relates in our Parsha; “If the tzara’as will erupt on the skin, and … will cover the entire skin of the afflicted from his head to his feet, wherever the eyes of the Kohen can see — the Kohen shall look, and behold! — the affliction has covered his entire flesh, then he shall declare the affliction to be pure; having turned completely white, it is pure. On the day healthy skin appears …, it (the affliction) shall be contaminated.” (Sefer Vayikra, Perek 13, posukim 12 – 14)
Commentary;
Here is an article which summarizes 2 articles written by a Saudi columnist which say right out that ‘right of return’ is an impossible concept which “cannot be implemented.” These are points which we hld as axiomatic and self-evident, but this is the first recollection of a Saudi Arab writing them.
The columnist does speak about the impact of ‘return’ upon Israel, but contrasts the Arab governments and Arab legue treatment of the refugees they themselves created with Israel’s absorption “of the thousands of Jewish refugees who had lost their property, homes and businesses in the Arab countries.” One “talk-back” to the JPost artcle summed it up best; “I pray the writer lives to write more on the subject, and his articles are reprinted in Arab media.”

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert confirmed Sunday that he intended to engage in dialogue with representatives of the Arab League on the basis of the Saudi peace initiative, but emphasized that such discussions did not constitute an Israeli acceptance of all the principles of the initiative.
“The discussions are a way of solving the problems without violence, and that’s a positive thing,” Olmert said at the beginning of Sunday’s cabinet meeting.
