Ehud Barak’s Smoke and Mirrors Regarding Withdrawals From JEWISH Land

.

Commentary;

Aside from the given, that Ehud Barak makes no bones about his lust to seperate Israelis from anything Jewish and to sever all connections with the Jewish roots of the land, does it faze him in the least that the kinds of rocket blitzes we saw in Gush Katif, and now see in S’derot and the communities surrounding Gaza would inevitably be felt in Tel Aviv, K’far Saba, or Beit Shemesh?

Does he realize that anti-missile systems can’t defend against massive missile bombardments? Does he even care? He might as well be peering through Amir Peretz’s capped binoculars. MB read more

Full Text;

According to a poll conducted by Ha’aretz, 30% of the Jewish public in Israel support IDF soldiers’ refusing any orders related to the expulsion of Jews from their homes.

Earlier this week, soldiers of the Duchifat Brigade refused to take part in the expulsion of two Jewish families from the former marketplace in Hevron.

The Yesha Rabbis’ Council of Judea and Samaria issued a statement of support for the IDF soldiers who refused to take part in the eviction. “We bless the Israeli soldiers who obeyed the command of their Jewish hearts and did not take part in the expulsion.” read more

Katif Expellee Ordered to Expel Hevron Jews

Full Text;

According to Rabbi Elyakim Levanon, the head of the hesder yeshiva in Elon Moreh, one of the soldiers sent to expel Jews from their homes in Hevron on Tuesday was expelled from his home in Gush Katif in 2005. “Is it logical,” Rabbi Levanon asked, “to ask a young man who lives in [caravan city] Nitzan and whose family was expelled to expel people from their homes?”

The general public would agree that the young man should not have been required to participate in the expulsion, Rabbi Levanon said. He called on IDF officials to investigate the incident. If a soldier tells his commander that he is unable to fulfill an order because it goes against his ideals, Rabbi Levanon added, “that is not refusing orders.” read more

PM, Peres Deny Report of ‘Palestinian State Plan’

Full Text;

The offices of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and President Shimon Peres vigorously denied a report in Tuesday’s left-leaning Ha’aretz newspaper alleging that they crafted a plan to establish a Palestinian state on the equivalent of 100 percent of the land in the West Bank.

“We are not aware of any such plan described in the article,” Olmert’s office said in the most strongly worded denial the office has ever issued. “It is not being considered or discussed. We are amazed by the false report, which was published without asking for a response or checking whether it was true.” read more

Peres and Olmert Prepare to Carve Up Israel on Both Sides of “Green Line (sic)”

Despite PMO denials, that aides to President Peres confirm the Haaretz report makes it a good bet that the plan which Olmert denies is on the table. In addition, the credibility of PMO denials is null. For example, remember this classic denial which turned into “convergence, consolidation, realignment” which Olmert still pursues, but under cover of a negotiated Israeli-Palestinian (sic) agreement for a “Palestinian (sic) State.
