Commentary;
A leopard cannot change it’s spots. That Israel’s leftist, anti-Torah regime continues to meet with, recognize, fund, arm and pardon terrorists while offering up dangerous “concessions” puts the Jewish people in dire peril and is ever foolhardy and treasonable.

To stay alive, both in real, physical terms as well as politically, Mahmoud Abbas, the reputed leader of the so-called Palestinian people (or at least the segment thereof which resides in the fiefdom ruled for the time being from Ramallah), crucially needs Ehud Olmert. Without Olmert’s indulgence, Abbas is a goner.

Commentary;
This author could have dealt with Sarah Honig’s scorpion analogy regarding the PA attempt to assassinate Olmert as one with this piece by Evelyn Gordon. Both pieces reflect specifics, pretenses why NOT to deal with Abbas, why Not to do “Land for Peace(sic).”
Years ago, a friend often used the analogy of doing things for the wrong reasons.
These pretenses are subordinate to the fundamental principle — that Eretz Yisrael; Kol ha’aretz shelanu — The Land of Israel is Jewish land and Jerusalem is the seed, the root of the Jewish people by Divine Legacy.

We are repeating the announcement now as it is always timely and there are undoubtedly those who have participated in High Holiday tefillos who would benefit from utilizing this course to develope and improve their Hebrew reading skills in time to light Chanukah candles with a Bracha.
Dictionary.co.il has created an online video course that teaches
total beginners how to read Hebrew and more in just 2 hours. It
covers all the letters, vowels, and some vocabulary as well.

Eleven days ago, this blog posted a piece; Painless, No Cost Ways to Fight the Regime’s Planned Give-Away of Jerusalem, Har HaBayit. Prominent on this post was a call for support of Shurat HaDin’s struggle against the Islamic crimes of desecration being committed on the Temple Mount.
Today, Dr. Aaron Lerner’s IMRA site reports that 150 Israeli citizens have taken up the call, signed up and enabled Nitsana Darshan-Leitner and Shurat HaDin to initiate this litigation.

As is so often the case, Barak of IRIS hits the mark again with the post ‘Israel Should No Longer Grant Automatic Citizenship to Jews.’
In speaking before a Jewish Agency Board of Governors meeting in Jerusalem, Sheetrit was not merely addressing the issue the B’nei Menashe from India. He called for a five-year waiting period for citizenship.
He explained that “Israel should become like every other country. I want to see that [the immigrant] is not a criminal, that he’s learning Hebrew; that he’s here for five years before getting citizenship.”

Commentary;
The Olmert, Barak, Ramon regime will stop at nothing; sanctions, short-range missile interception systems, etc. in order to avoid doing what needs to be done — to eliminate the weapons smuggling, manufacture and the army which launches the missiles in the first place.
Former defense minister Moshe Arens writes (excerpt of full article below);
One does not have to be a rocket scientist or nuclear physicist to understand that the shorter the range of the ballistic missile to be intercepted, the more difficult interception becomes. When our defense minister announces that within two and a half years we will have an operational interception system against Kassam rockets – rockets which have a range of only a few kilometers – one should wonder whether this is a reasonable time scale and whether the Defense Ministry’s estimates on how much this will cost are correct.
