In the past few days, this author has received several pertinent emails with suggested actions aimed at confronting and fighting the regime’s schemes and plans to separate Israelis from their Jewish roots by “conceding” parts of Jerusalem and Har HaBayit by way of negotiations with Mahmoud Abbas and a joint statement as well as by way of the upcoming Annapolis “Peace” conference. Two of these emails have been designated for promotion on this blog.
In addition, this author is advancing an idea, on a large scale, to take the conflict between the Jews and the regime to a different front on ahigher level, to Shemayim.

In July and August 2006, during the Lebanon conflict, Kehillah Beis Tefillah in Ramat Beit Shemesh, Israel held a Melchamta shel Torah evening learning seder. It was enormously successful, as was this year’s bein hasmanim learning seder (although not necessarily with the fire and intensity of the previous year’s Melchamta shel Torah).
It seems to me that we are in another, more intense war now, for Jerusalem…
To quote from an email recently received;
A body can function in a limited way without certain major limbs, but once the heart goes, it’s all over. Har HaBayit is THE HEART OF OUR NATION. Our most active motions MUST be directed towards strengthening the heart. If you go up to Har HaBayit, make it more frequent. If you can attend the monthly Sivuv Shearim, take a lot of people with you. Support the lawyers who are trying to sue to prevent the destruction of Har HaBayit.
Having written the above; it seems to this auhor that we are in another, more intense war, this one for Jerusalem — Mi Hashem Eilei.
It is strongly suggested, that irregardless of whether or not this is bein hasmanim, that a collective international Melchamta shel Torah needs to be undertaken — as our way of confronting and battling the Evil, the Eruv Rav and their evil, perverse plans and strategies to divest Israel of the Old City, of East Jerusalem, of the Kotel, of Har HaBayit.
Since the vast majority of us are unwilling to undertake what has been called the “Ukrainian Model” — hundreds of thousands of Jews, in shifts, having a massive, continuous presence in Israel’s streets 24/7 to disrupt and bring down the regime — an action on earth; we, as a collective international kehilla, surely ought to be able to mobilize a worldwide Melchamta Shel Torah to appeal to Shemayim by the intensity of our learning, that the plans, schemes, strategies and machinations of the “politicians” regarding Jerusalem, Har HaBayit, etc. fail and be for naught.
What was the mindset of the Jews in Shushan when Esther HaMalcha called for fasting and prayer. he answer seems to be — complacency. And yet they overcame their complacency when push came to shove.
Returning to the quote from the email above;

IMHO — push HAS come to shove. We need to heavily impact somehow; if not through expressing our fight for Jerusalem physically, then surely, by doing what religious Jews do best, learning cranked up to a Melchama level of fire and intensity.
