The Winograd Commission of investigation into the management of the war in Lebanon will be given the same authority as a state commission, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Sunday at the opening of the weekly cabinet meeting.

“It is the government’s intention to invest the committee with all the powers of a state inquiry commission, as required by law and according to the decision of the justice minister,” he said.

It’s About Justice, Family and Jewish National Values …!

Where Do We Go From Here, by Moshe Feiglin (the article soon to be archived here.)

“When the Jewish emissaries who searched for these children throughout Europe would enter the monastery, there was a sure way to identify them. The emissary would stand on a chair and call out, Shema Yisrael… (”Hear O’ Israel…”) and the Jewish children would automatically finish the sentence that had accompanied them from the time that they were born. At that point, it was easy to return them to their own nation and identity.” read more

Isn’t It About Time That Israel Re-asserts Her Sovereignty, Her Self-Defense, Instead of Collapsing, Appeasing Before World?

Column One: The Free World’s Achilles Heel, By Caroline Glick (Jerusalem Post)

Excerpts;

Britain’s Prime Minister Tony Blair is Israel’s best friend in Europe. And he’s not a very good friend.

Immediately after the September 11, 2001 attacks on the US, Blair was instrumental in convincing US President George W. Bush to view the Palestinian jihad against Israel as a conflict completely separate from the global jihad. His success in convincing Bush of this distinction turned the anti-Semitic – not to mention strategically disastrous – view that terrorists who kill Israelis should be treated differently from terrorists who kill anyone else into one of the cognitive foundations of the US war on Islamic terror. read more

Egypt: Policing Against Arms Smuggling or Co-Conspirator in Smuggling?

IDF: Egypt Not Stopping [Arms] Smuggling

Excerpts;

At least one ton of explosives is being conveyed across the Sinai border Gaza each month, a high-ranking IDF officer revealed on Thursday.

Following Israel’s withdrawal from Gaza last year, Egypt deployed 750 border policemen along the border with Gaza in agreement with Israel. The force, the officer said, has proven to be “ineffective” in stopping the smuggling into Gaza despite the Egyptian government’s interest and readiness to assist Israel in preventing the terror buildup in the Palestinian territory. read more

Barak: The Arabs Living Among Us Are Equal in All Respects

Fill Text;

Outgoing High Court President Aaron Barak in his remarks on Thursday stated, “Arabs living among us are our brothers, equal in all respects.”

Commentary;

Outgoing High Court Presdent Aaron Barak, the father of political correctness, states that Israel’s Arabs are “equal in all respects” to the Jews. That means, of course that equality = preferential. Preferential meaning that a Jew’s inalienable rights in Torah in Eretz Yisrael are subserviant at best to the Arabs. read more
