Anshel Pfeffer joins other journalists who write about the apathy and mere lip-service of the majority of Israelis, among them the 74% who now express their opposition to expulsion.
Because this majority, due to its disunity and sectorial rivalries, is unable or unwilling to articulate a unified opposition to further expulsions, the way is wide open for the Olmerts, the Livnis, the Peres’, the Ramons’ to divide and conquer while spinning future expulsions of Jews and divestments of additional Divinely-ordained Jewish lands either in the name of expulsion, or under any other name or bogus rationale. Eight Shells Fired from Gaza at Gush Katif Expellees, by Hillel Fendel (Israel National News)
“There’s a riot in the Bronx, Brooklyn’s broken out in fights…. Car 54, Where are you??”
This is not a joke. The above pictures and excerpt from theme song of the old, long-running American TV series is indicative of the real-life daily derelictions, abdications and abrogations of governing responsibility on the part of prime minister Olmert and his band of buffoons, some of which you can read below. Jewish history throughout the ages has proven incontrovertibly that … assertion of Jewish rights and control over the Land of Israel and the affirmation of Jewish national identity, is the solution to most of the problems that have beset the Jews… In the Land of Israel, as a nation of free men and women willing and able to assert and defend ourselves, the Jewish people flourish on every level. Newsweek magazine has added more evidence that Fatah terrorists released last week by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert still have access to their weapons, in violation of terms of the release. Newsweek reporter Kevin Peraino wrote, “I found [Al Aksa Martyrs Brigades] boss Zacharia Zubeidi, sitting under a carob tree, chain smoking L&Ms, and otherwise doing nothing. ‘We’re just like the rest of the army. We have no duties.’… Despite the fact that Aqsa militants in the West Bank made an elaborate show earlier this week of turning in their Kalashnikovs and pledging to support for Abbas, Zubeidi made it clear that he still has access to his old weapons.” [...]
