It may not have been considered earthshaking news. But I would have thought that the announcement of a possible agreement over the control of a Jerusalem holy site, emanating from a respected Vatican media source and appearing in the London Times, would have certainly warranted an article in Israel’s mainstream Hebrew and English press.

Earlier today, an individual received an email purportedly from Avi Granot who claims to be “Political Advisor to the President of Israel.” In the email, for which I am still awaiting authentication as real and true ( I can’t believe that the Office of the President of Israel would send out such an amatuerish looking piece not befitting the Office), Granot allegedly wrote; ” I would like to inform you that there is absolutely no base to the story which appeared in some press reports.”
