Protexia Leftist Regime Mindset: Disengagement a Big Mistake, But Leave “Territories” ASAP — “Subvert Those Jews at all Cost!”

.
Commentary;

Barak of IRIS hits another bullseye with this blog post. But, it darn sure ain’t kool-aid that Minister of Infrastructure and former Defense Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer is drinking when despite his admission that the expulsion was a mistake, he still “hopes Israel will leave territories as soon as possible.”

What other reason could there be for the two blantantly conflicting statments issued by Ben-Eliezer one week apart other than the regime’s desperate attempts, at all cost, to eradicate all Jewish roots, history and content rom the minds and hearts of dumbed-down Israelis? read more

Regime in Denial Regarding Syria’s War Intentions

Column One: Fighting the Next War, by Caroline Glick (Jerusalem Post)

“Syria has no intention of fighting a conventional war against Israel. The war that Syria is planning will bear greater similarity to the insurgency in Iraq and Hezbollah’s war last summer than to Syria’s previous wars with Israel.”

Related reports: regarding Syria’s War Intentions.

Excerpts;

Haaretz’s military commentator Ze’ev Schiff accused the Barak and Sharon governments of responsibility for last summer’s war. As Schiff put it, since the IDF withdrawal from southern Lebanon in May 2000, “a threatening system [comprised of Hezbollah, Syria and Iran] arose [on Israel’s northern border], which required a preemptive strike. The aversion to conducting such a strike eventually caused the war.” read more

IDF on Stand-By as Fatah and Hamas Clash

Commentary;

Israel is concerned about Fatah, Hamas violence spilling over into Israel. There is also great concern about the terrorists’ massive weapon stockpiling, weapons smuggling, improved Kassam rockets, with upgraded accuracy and more powerful warheads, networks of tunnels and Lebanon-style bunkers and Fatah, Hamas preparations for a Hezbollah-style war.

But the bottom-line is, has the government of Israel and the IDF absorbed and internalized all of the lessons of the failed Lebanon action? Can the same incompetents; Olmert, Peretz, Livni who failed in Lebanon actuate the lessons with integrity in a sustained, purposeful, successful action in Gaza? Or will we see, in the end, more 3rd party, peacekeeping forces and an Israel which strips herself of any ability to defend and secure the nation? MB read more

by Moshe Burt

Last year, this author related how Parsha Vayechi recounts two experiences which carry a common thread relating to Eretz Yisrael. And this week, we’ve just completed our Fast of 10 Tevet. And one year later, it’s deemed important that this thread be recalled.

Our parsha tells how, when Yaakov saw that the time of his death was
near, he called for Yosef and made him (Yosef) promise not to bury him
(Yaakov) in Mitzriyim, but rather in Ma’Orat HaMachpela in Chevron. (Perek 47, posuk 29) read more
