Expulsion’s Main Protagonist: “Identifies First (sic) as a Jew”???

Olmert Says He Identifies First as a Jew

Full text;

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert told participants at a conference in Jerusalem on Tuesday that he identifies himself first as a Jew, then as an Israeli.

The prime minister told the conference, which focused on the future of the Jewish people in Jerusalem, that in his younger years he would have declared himself to be an Israeli first, then a Jew.

Commentary;

What a laugh!!! What a distorted, demented mind. Olmert’s remarks before a conference on the future of the Jewish people that he “identifies first as a Jew” are blatantly disingenuous and self-serving. It seems obvious to this author that Olmert defines himself, not based on Jewishness, but on corruption, greed, exploitation and EXPULSION of Jews from Jewish land! MB read more

Show Us the Money, and Where it Went

Commentary;

It seems obvious that their is a complete lack of transparency in Israeli governance regarding collection of tax revenues and where those revenues go.

As noted in the previous post, and in a slew of earlier posts, the former Gush Katif residents have not be restituted, have not been resettled despite Olmert’s contrary assertions. Most are without work, the former farmers have no means to re-apply their farming skills as they have no land to farm and earn a living from. read more

Another Report on State of Former Gush Katif Residents

Commentary;

Do we really need more reports to tell us what has been clearly evident for two years? That is, the consequences of the regime’s legalized theft at gun-point of nearly 10,000 people, the wrapping of them in an endless maze of bureaucracy and utter failure to return to them what is theirs; their lives, their homes, their property and denying them just and proper restitution. It seems that the main reason for these reports is to reinforce what has been laid out by the previous reports and that eventually, through the immense body of evidence, the facts and the TRUTH filters down to Israelis. Parsha Matos/Masei 5767: Remaining “in peace” During a War of Survival (Revisited)

By, Moshe Burt

In Parsha Matos, Sh’vatim Gad and Reuven approached Moshe Rabbeinu regarding their desire to graze their flocks and settle their families on the East side of the Yarden. To this, Moshe Rabbeinu replied, “Shall your brothers go off to war, and shall you sit here?” (Sefer Bamidbar, Perek 32, posuk 6)

Moshe was quite angry at the two Sh’vatim. He was concerned lest Gad and Reuven would avoid taking part in the wars for Eretz Yisrael, that other Sh’vatim might follow suit and B’nai Yisrael might be condemned to wandering in the desert another 40 years. read more

What Israel’s MSM Doesn’t Tell Regarding Surviving Families of Lebanon Fatalities

Commentary;

To those who don’t know about Olmert’s disdain for the very soldiers who fought with the most valour during last summer’s Lebanon conflict, Horovitz’s piece may seem a very sensitive human interest story centering around Yeshiva Bnei David where the 3 religious soldiers who were fatalities in last summer’s Lebanon conflict learned and around the Yeshiva’s philosophies; “to bolster religious Zionist soldiers’ spirit, commitment and motivation to protect Israel” as well as, “awareness that senseless internal hatreds destroyed our previous efforts at Jewish sovereignty” and telling students during the expulsion from Gush Katif “not to abandon their units…. We stick together through thick and thin.” read more

Disturbing Trend: Loyalty Lacking From Gov’ts of Israel, Officials Re: Non-Israeli Allies

Commentary;

The disclosures over recent years concerning the relationship between Israel and Dr. Ashraf Marwan dating back to warnings of the impending Yom Kippur War indicate an outrageous precedent of disloyalty and disregard for non-Israeli Allies who have risked their lives on behalf of Israel.

This precedent could be seen as manifested most notably in cases such as Jonathan Pollard or the South Lebanese Army.

These cases, as well as the MIAs who have seemingly been abandoned and neglected by successive Israeli governments have seemingly set the stage for the next level; neglect, disloyalty and the legalized robbery, pillage, and abandonment which was the expulsion of Jews formerly of Gush Katif and the 4 Shomron Towns.
