Parsha Bo is the one which, for me, annually relates to that crazy tune which played back “in the Old Country” a couple of decades ago, “Does Your Korbon Pesach Lose It’s Flavor Tied to the Bedpost Overnight?” (Actually, the real title to the song was “Does Your Chewing Gum Lose It’s Flavor on the Bedpost Overnight?”)
Over the years, this author has opened with this nutty parody of mine because it cuts right to the very heart of our Parsha. That is the Mitzvot of taking the Korbon Pesach, applying the da’am on Jewish doorposts, the going up from Mitzrayim (Egypt) to “…a land flowing with milk and honey …” and the first mitzvah commanded of the National entity (B’nai Yisrael), the Kiddush HaChodesh — the sanctification of the New Moon and the relevance today of these mitzvot which relate to emunah (belief in) and yirat (fear of)Hashem.

Commentary;
Foreign Minister, Tzipy Livni, one of the protexia regime’s biggest and top enablers of the erosion of Jewishness among Israelis, now cries crocodile tears for external consumption when, in fact, she, Olmert, Barak and the other Kadima lackies who enabled the expulsion from Gush Katif and the Shomron Towns and disguise “consolidation” behind an “Annapolis process.” These very individuals and their ilk ARE THE PROBLEM behind the phenomenon of Israelis “becoming more an ‘Israeli people,’ and less ‘the people of Israel.'”

Commentary;
American radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh has continually used the phrase “symbolism Over substance” in illustrating cases of governmental lip-service toward a principle or issue.
We find, with the Gush Katif stamp, a classic example of “symbolism Over substance.” While large numbers of former Gush Katif residents have suffered, and continue to suffer directly-related psychological trauma, as well as continuing, in large part, to live limbo without permanent resettlement, lack of compensation and lack of parnossa, the Gush Katif stamp means nothing other than the regime throwing them a worthless, meaningless bone for all of their suffering. A stamp is meaningless payback for their persecution and for the loss of of their beloved Gush Katif due to their Jewishness! When do Jews stop settling for their epitaphs? MB

Serial murder planner Marwan Barghouti is once again increasingly mentioned in swap talk for captured IDF soldier Gilad Shalit.
And so, the leftist political rapists of the Jewish State of Israel rush to support release of the murderous Barghouti to plan and execute yet more Jewish deaths. Obviously, Haaretz editor David Landau does not have a corner on rape and fantasy “wet dreams.” MB

Commentary;
There was a time in the not-so-distant past, in the context of this author’s 59 1/2 years of life, when saving a Jewish life, particularly on the field of battle, was holy and sacred. There was a time when great officers exhorted their men; “follow me” into battle. They didn’t sit hunkered down in the ministry of defense buildingh in Tel Aviv following the action from the rear, from their plasma computer screens.
The by-gone derech of saving one’s brother on the field of battle was best exemplified by IAF veteran Sgt. (ret.) Shmuel Rafael who saved a fellow soldier in mid-air in 1950.
