Commentary;
The righteous-appearing comments of prime minister Olmert on the Holocaust are nothing more than shallow, self-serving rhetoric. Olmert reveals with these words not the least comprehension of the implications and true meanings of words he mutters, were these words to have been spoken by a true leader of the Jewish people.
But Israel’s Spirit with which “no power… can contend” seemingly appears, in Olmert’s view of actuality “too tired to fight, too tired to win… “ These very words will be repeated again, and again, and again to bear witness against Ehud Olmert and his ilk as long as he and they remain they government in power; as long as Olmert remains in politics.

Commentary;
One surmises a lot of hot air being blown in the Kadima party. Is there even one Kadima MK willing to bolt the party over the proposition of a Golan Withdrawal? They seem as equally lame a bunch as Shas and their opening position of leaving the government over Jerusalem talks. And we all know what happened to that pledge — as worthless as spent toiletpaper.
There is no backbone, no character and not an ounce of moral intergrity to be found amongst any of the Kadima MKs, nor can any be found amongst roughly 118 of 120 Knesset members.

Commentary;
Are we to conjure up, again and again, the above picture (taken during the Lebanon conflict shortly after Israel was accused of an alleged atrocity at Qana, found subsequently to have been staged) whenever Islamic civilians are found in the line of fire, deliberately placing themselves in the line of fire to shield terrorist rocket launchers or snipers or are placed in the line of fire as shields by the murderers themselves?
Some very important questions need to be asked here about the Israeli government mindset. Why announce to the Israeli MSM the intent to investigate or probe into specific IDF operations such as that noted on this blog which took place on Monday on a home in Beit Hanun during which a Palestinian mother and her four children allegedly died? Why does an investigation announcement need to be made at all?

Parsha Kedoshim is, what baseball fans often refer to as the
“twilight” parsha of the normal Achrai Mos/Kedoshim doubleheader Parshas which are read in the Pesach, post-Pesach period.
One of the main themes underlying Parsha Kedoshim is the loving care
with which each Jew is to treat his Jewish brother. Indeed, we see that the first posuk of our Parsha conveys that spirit, “Hashem spoke to Moshe saying, “Speak to the entire assembly of B’nai Yisrael and say to them: You shall be holy, for holy am I, Hashem, your G’d.” (Sefer Vayikra, Perek 19, posuk 1) Our Parsha then goes on to enumerate the Asseret HaDivrot, the Ten Commandments in depth.
