How Pro-Israel is Bush? Does it Matter?

.

Commentary;

Just how Pro-Israel is president Bush? The picture above shows president Bush doing a little jig, a little softshoe during his two day stay in Israel.

While the right and religious MKs may view president Bush’s speech as garnering higher marks than Olmert’s, and while the Shas party may proclaim Bush as being more Pro-Israel than Olmert and many will read Bush’s language such as to wonder why Olmert can’t be as forthright and unequivocal, the President’s parting comments to Israelis reveal diabolical contradiction;

According to the youngsters, Bush also told them that just as the US changed its treatment of minorities, he hoped that Israeli society could also change the way it treats its minorities.

Yep, you’ve read that right; “moral equivalence” regarding relations between American blacks and caucasians and relations between Jews and Islamics.

That is to say that in the Bush, Rice purview, race and minority violence and caucasian discrimination against minorities as being inferior are viewed on an even par with Israel’s defending herself against the unaltered Islamic goal: the destruction and eradication of the Jew. Meaning; the Jewish claim and assertion of his inalienable right to possession of his land, of the land Divinely bequeathed to the Jews, is seen as the moral equivalence of America’s pre-civil rights era disrimination, racism or persecution of minorities.

Further, for Jews, for the state of Israel to bear distrust and seek to protect and defend themselves by any means against Arabs, against Islamics is backed by an entire body of irrefutable evidence, by an entire history of systematic violence, pogroms, blood libels and more dating back far in excess of the 60 years of modern-day Jewish statehood. Evidence consisting of a litany of dates and events dating back over a thousand years includes, in large part, the very Koran itself and the Koranic traditions regarding “infidels” handed down from generation to generation of Imams since Islam’s beginnings.

This author does not recall ever seeing or learning in history, an organized, systematic minority effort in America to overthrow American governance, eradicate any other race or population sector or to supplant it, on the part of any minority, with supremacy of all others. The only possible case that could be made relates to the Wars between “the white man” and the American Indian. But those wars were about land, not about the extinction of a race.

Basically, the Bush, Rice equivalency is patently false and invalid.
Such an analogy; “that just as the US changed its treatment of minorities, he hoped that Israeli society could also change the way it treats its minorities” is bogus and mythical.

But the Bush, Rice false notion of equivalency would be totally meaningless if the State of Israel, if its governance, if its justice system, if its institutions were what they are supposed to be; unified, with love of Jew brethren V’Ahavtah L’re’echa Komocha.

If the government of Israel acted, with faith in Hashem, out of Jewish conviction, as they are supposed to act, regarding the Jewish right to exist in Eretz Yisrael rather than by way of blind hatred toward Jewish tradition, history, spirituality, laws and morality as well as by way of hypocrisy, equivocacy and moral inability viewed by the Arabs and by the entire world, the Bush, Rice notion of “moral equivalency” would be as nothing.
