With all of the talk about “cease-fire” — in Gaza, it’s extension to Yehuda and Shomron (the so-called “west bank”; the regime’s and the MSM’s term) and bogus offers and reports such as these; Mashaal Offers 10-Year Cease-Fire Deal, Report: Ceasefire To Extend to Judea, Samaria, David Bedein and Israel Resource Review has provided clear definition of “hudna”, definitely NOT a ceasefire. The consequences of the expulsion of Jews from their homes in Gush Katif and the 4 Shomron towns are many-fold. The collective decline in physical and mental health is just one consequence of the regime’s land and property robbery and seizure at legalized gunpoint and violation of fundamental human rights both of the expellees and expulsion opponents.
We can only surmise that there are many Bennie Daroms walking around among the expelling soldiers and many other side-effects affecting the national psyche on many levels. Where are the Jewish hearts and souls? May they speedily come out of the closet in manifestations such as this; Residents Plan to Re-Settle Homesh and Sa-Nur on Chanukah, that Hashem may save us all. The High Court of Justice took a long step last month toward making Israel one of the few countries that recognize gay marriage – in defiance of the legislature and executive.

Readers of this blog may recall a number of posts on this blog in November, 2005 regarding meetings which took place between President Katzav and the Pope which were to have included negotiations and possible agreement regarding a possible hand over by Israel of Mt. Zion to the Vatican.
Thankfully, the meeting took place but Mt. Zion is still in Jewish hands thanks Ellen Horowitz who issued a warning which quite a few bloggers picked up on and which resulted in pressure on President Katzav.
