Hevron’s Jews Call Upon World Jewry to Converge on the City of Patriarchs

Hevron Sources Report IDF Preparing to Expel Jews From Mitzpeh Shalhevet

“Hevron sources report that security forces have begun mobilizing in preparation for the planned expulsion of the Jewish families living in the Mitzpeh Shalehevet neighborhood.”

“‘A camera has been placed atop an army post tower on the Abu-Sneneh hills, facing the Mitzpe Shalhevet neighborhood, and a Riot Squad force member was seen entering another guard tower located at Gross Square, also equipped with cameras,’ Hevron activists report.”

“Mitzpeh Shalhevet was established following the murder of 10-month-old Shalehevet Pass by a Palestinian sniper, on land owned by Jews prior to the Arab massacres of Hevron’s Jews in 1929.”

“Community members are urging the public to come to Hevron for mass prayers at 3:30 PM Tuesday and to come with equipment to stay ‘for the long haul’ beginning on Wednesday. Activists say the events are part of a three-pronged plan to save the neighborhood.”
