Did Pope Plan Chief Islamic Judge Tamimi’s Notre Dame Institute Outburst?

Commentary;

On Tuesday, this blog posted a piece about Ashkenaz Chief Rabbi Metzger’s announcement which indicated that the ‘Pope Agreed Vatican to Stop Missionizing Jews.’

And this blog posed the question;

If the Pope walked out of the festivities at Notre Dame Pontifical Institute in Jerusalem after Chief Islamic Judge of the Palestinian Authority, Sheikh Tayseer Rajab Tamimi’s unscheduled, unsolicited verbal attack upon Israel, just why did Army Radio report that the Pope shook Tamimi’s hand on the way out?

Please note that in a subsequent update, the Post no longer cites Army Radio as reporting the handshake, but attributes the fact of the handshake to itself.

Now, 3 days later, Israel National News reports Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu of Tsfat as saying, in a Parsha HaShevua distributed in many shuls for Shabbos, that the pontiff planned the anti-Israel outburst.

The above-referenced report continues:

The rabbi said Tamimi’s interruption of the pope’s opening words was one of a series of petty exercises carried out by the pontiff. The rabbi wrote, “The warm handshake that the pope gave him afterward showed that Tamimi’s words were words that pope wanted heard publicly but he could not say.

So this blog must again ask, why the pope would leave the premises after Tamimi’s uttered his vicious attack on Israel and yet shake Tamimi’s hand on the way out? Oh, the intrigues of hatred, loathing and bias… MB
