The Spin Spectrum on the Winograd Report

.

Commentary;

As usual, the grossly slanted Israeli msm puts a pro-Olmert, pro-regime spin on the Winograd Report by virtue of its headline. But the report itself may not be such an easy spin for regime surrenderists. The key lies in the public’s reaction and whether the Jewish public finally gets its’ collective back up! MB

Was Olmert’s Account of R’ Ovadia’s “Bracha” Staged?

.
Commentary;

This blog asked yesterday if Shas was playing for subsidies or other types of monetization from the Olmert regime by being in the coalition and by way of a “bracha” from R’ Ovadia Yosef.

Today we hear denials from Shas which state, regarding the alleged bracha ‘Do not fear and do not lose resolve, for I am with you,’ “that the rabbi does not use that expression and made no such statement.”

If the Shas denial is in fact truthful and accurate, then what does it say about the truthfulness and forthrightness of Ehud Olmert? What does it say about Olmert’s pledge to Shas and R’ Ovadia about “core negotiations” regarding Jerusalem? read more

Commentary;

The Olmert regime-sponsored abuse, discrimination and persecution of former Gush Katif residents continues over 2 1/2 years after the expulsion. Shas: Playing for Olmert’s Funny-Money With Jerusalem On Line?

Commentary;

As we watch the time tick down to the 6 PM Wednesday release of the “final” Winograd report on the summer 2006 Lebanon conflict, there are three reports well worth reading for background as to whether or not the Winograd report will be the fatal blow to the Olmert regime’s continuance in power. Below are excerpts from each, but readers of this blog should read each report in total for possible perspectives in the days to come. Can Olmert be taken at his word? Is delaying Jerusalem until last placing it in a fait accompli situation? read more

What if 500,000 Islamics Tried Forcing Way Into Negev?

.
Commentary;

This author was asked that very question this past Shabbos in the aftermath of the Islamic mob which tore down the Rafah border. Not being aware of the existing advanced modern anti-mob technology referred to in the report below to combat mass human-wave actions, we surmised that Israel would evoke a worldwide hew and cry were Islamics shot during such an attempt to cross from Gaza and force entry into the Negev.

One can recall the threats made by Islamics at the time of Arafat’s death to bury him Mosque of Al Aksa on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. read more
