Peretz Authorizes Destruction of 90 Buildings in Judea & Samaria

Defense Minister Amir Peretz on Monday night gave authorization to IDF officials to evacuate and destroy 90 buildings throughout Judea and Samaria termed illegal by the Civil Administration. Military officials reported about one-half are Israeli and the remainder Arab.
The defense minister instructed the military to carry out the order using its own timetable that best serves the IDF’s considerations.
It is unclear whether the decision means the destruction of small hilltop communities termed “outposts” by the government.
