Fill Text;

Outgoing High Court President Aaron Barak in his remarks on Thursday stated, “Arabs living among us are our brothers, equal in all respects.”

Commentary;

Outgoing High Court Presdent Aaron Barak, the father of political correctness, states that Israel’s Arabs are “equal in all respects” to the Jews. That means, of course that equality = preferential. Preferential meaning that a Jew’s inalienable rights in Torah in Eretz Yisrael are subserviant at best to the Arabs.

How interesting it is that Barak also states, “In a democracy, the citizen must ask what he can do for his country.” A reading of this post from earlier today indicates clearly that the “Israeli” Arab does all that “he can do for his country.” But his country assuredly is NOT Israel, is NOT Medinat Yisrael and they DO NOT respect Jewish sovereignty in the land — a Torah criteria for being permitted to live amongst the Jews in Eretz Yisrael.

So when Outgoing High Court President Aaron Barak says that “Arabs living among us are our brothers, equal in all respects”, his statements, judgements and mindset are of “a land of all it’s people” and are revisionist of thousands of years of Biblical Jewish History and the eternal, inalienable right of the Jews to the Land of Israel.

But the Israeli Arab’s lack of allegence to the nation which gives it preferential treatment over the Jews to whom the land rightly belongs is the consequence, the out-growth of a bigger problem.

When Outgoing High Court President Aaron Barak says that “Arabs living among us are our brothers, equal in all respects”, the Justice expresses his lack of identity and typifies Yosef Q. Israeli’s collective rush to be held of, to be seen as “moral” in the distorted mindset of “morality” of the nations, of the non-Jewish world.

Rav Chaim Zev Malinowitz gives a weekly Chovos Halevavos (Duties of the Heart) shiur on Thursday evenings which this author attends. The Rav been discussing how the Yetzer Hora (the evil inclination) continually tricks and sidetracks us from our pure service of Hashem.

What this author takes from the above shiur is that just as an individual is constantly tricked and sidetracked by the Yetzer Hora’s urgings to do a given thing or action so as to be well-thought of by his peers, so too can the Jewish nation be deceived and sidetracked as it rushes with its senseless compulsion to please the nations. And what does this “pleasing” amount to? What is it’s shelf-life? What is the duration of whatever “warm and fuzzy” feeling or sentiment is expressed by the nations toward a “courageous” concession by Israel? What was the shelf-life the expulsion of Jews from Gush Katif? toward the Israeli government’s preferential treatment of Arabs over the Land of Israel’s rightful Divine inheritors, the Jews?

What is the duration? 2 or 3 or 15 minutes or a couple of hours? About the length of time that we look back on Ryan Howard’s last homerun? In the case of Israel, the US, the UN, the EU all smile and then say with disdain, now that you’ve made this concession, it time to press for the next one. And so what do “written agreements” mean? Photo opps in the White House Rose Garden followed by more demands, more pressure and utter disregard for whatever agreement terms pertained to Israel’s best interests before the ink is even dry. Such is the way of appeasement. That an Oslo, an Oslo 2, once signed, as with the historic axiom dating back to the British mandate: whenever Israel has abrogated it’s own defense, it’s own security and entrusted it to others, those others have acted prejudicially toward the Jews, permitting Arab attacks and abuses and the resultant flow of Jewish blood, loss of Jewish life and diminishment of Jewish Sovereignty in Jewish land. The citings are numerous; British Mandate where British by non-application of law permitted Arab attrocities against Jews while denying Jews their right of immigration to Israel, 1947-48 UN partition, 1956 UN peacekeepers which enabled Nasser’s Suez Canal blockade of 1967, the prejudicial abuses of UN peacekeepers formerly in Gaza and those in Chevron to this very day and much, much more.

But a Justice Barak, like a battered wife, has lost all sense of self-pride, self-worth and self-esteem evolving from their total unawareness or disregard for why there is an Israel, why there is a piece of land called Eretz Yisrael and disdain for Shemayim and for Hashem who runs the world and who governs history. And each time, when the nations turn on us, those of the ilk of the Olmerts or Baraks again express their righteous indignation at the betrayal. Yet they continue to worship at the same altar of Avodah Zora, making up their own laws on the fly in denial of the Divine. For the mindset and resultant actions of Justice Barak and his ilk express total absence of the self-worth and self-esteem which fits hand-in-hand with true belief and principle. They just don’t get it! MB
