“Channel 1 TV reports that 100,000 protestors are currently in Zion Square. The police commander of the Jerusalem Zion District announced at 8:15 PM that 90,000 protestors had gathered to take part in the protest against Ehud Olmert and the police brutality at Amona last Wednesday.”
“Right-wing rally organizers have consistently charged that police-estimates of rally attendance are lower than the actual number present.”
“In any event, the Yesha Council has expressed satisfaction with the turnout, considering the protest was planned only days in advance.”

Protest in North to Take Place at Same Time as Zion Square Anti-Olmert Protest

“Sunday evening at 7 PM, a large protest will take place at Jerusalem’s Zion Square under the slogan ‘Olmert is Bad for the Jews,’ demanding an investigation into the police violence at Amona last week.”
“Activists in northern Israel are planning a simultaneous rally, calling upon activists to ‘leave you homes now to shout the warning: Olmert is dangerous for Israel.’ The protest will take place at the Golani Junction.”
“Many protestors plan on arriving with bandages on their heads in identification with the Amona protestors.”
