MK Eldad: Future Confrontations Will Include Shooting
Excerpts;
“Knesset Member Aryeh Eldad (National Union), who had his hand fractured in confrontation with police during the forced evacuation of Amona today, told Arutz Sheva Radio that he foresees an escalation in clashes between the state and its citizens in coming months.”
“‘From here, we go on to the next confrontation,’ Eldad said, ‘which will be far more harsh. In the third confrontation, there will be shooting deaths and in the fourth confrontation, the government will fall. I do not think that Acting Prime Minister Olmert will want to stop before then, because he is sure that if he beats the settlers, then he will appear to be a strong prime minister and earn a few more seats in the elections.'”
“Eldad also said that the police behavior today in Amona was brutal and had no connection with law enforcement. The policemen, he said, started using their nightsticks immediately, hit everyone regardless of who they were or what they were doing, and confiscated property from those protesters they could – including Eldad himself.”
Mounted Police Stomp a Jew in Amona
Excerpt;
“A brutal ‘Police Riot has just occurred in Israel, storming protestors with horses and swinging batons, hurting whoever is in their way. There are reports of a several hundred civilians injured including three Knesset members, Effie Eitam (knocked unconscious), Aryeh Eldad (broken arm), and Rabbi Binyamin Elon. Nothing has been seen like this in the free world since the Police Riots during the Chicago Democratic Convention in 1968.
A Police Clubbing in Process
“After those violent events, Chicago’s late Mayor Daley slipped and unapologetically blurted out, ‘The police aren’t there to create disorder, they’re there to preserve disorder,” proving the protestors claims that the police came to the site, with the intension of breaking heads and inflicting massive casualties.'”
“Daley’s police rioters, clubbed and maced not only “unruly protesters,” but also members of the media, clergy, women, young, old, and anyone else who was within swinging distance.”
“And that’s exactly what happened at Amona.”

Protestors Report Police Fired Rubber Bullets in Amona
The following News Items were loosely translated from Iv’rit;
In Amona yesterday, a YASSAM member beat 50 year-old Rav Shraga Orzi (who suffers from asthma and diabetes)with his metal truncheon all over his body. All of the people in the house behaved in a completely non-violent manner, yet the YASSAM squad beat many of them mercilessly. When the Rav asked the cop not to hit him because he was ill, his eyes lit up and he began to strike him with glee. Other officers stopped the incident and led the Rav outside – covered in blood and with wounds all over his body and head. He fainted there and regained consciousness in the hospital.
Hendel Accuses PMs PR Whiz of Hate Motivation for Amona
Excerpt;
“MK Zvi Hendel says that PR whiz and strategic media advisor to the PM Eyal Arad promised in private conversations that he would make sure the nation comes to hate the settlers more than they hate the terrorists. Hendel promised to resign if proven wrong. Arad responded by calling the claim a lie and says he expects Hendel to quit the Knesset.”
“Note: Eyal Arad is claimed to have been a major force in convincing Sharon to do the hitnatkut when corruption charges threatened to unseat Sharon and his son Omri – the idea being to have the courts sweep the charges under the rug in return for fulfilling their agenda. Arad also had an interesting client about 2 years ago: an antisemitic neo-fascist presidential candidate in an eastern European country. Yad Vashem, which also retained Arad at the time, immediately terminated its contract with him when it discovered this.”

Received this email from an individual calling for mass demonstration of turning in Mishmar Hagvul and Mishtara Volunteer Uniforms;
To Those Who are volunteers For Mishmar Hagvul and Mishtara:
When I came to Israel 6 years ago, I was deeply disturbed by the fact that my life and the lives of my family were being protected by the Israeli Defense Forces and the Israeli Police, many of them conscripted into service, while I had not participated in the defense of our people. As such, a few years ago during the wave of piguim that swept the land, I like many others in our neighborhoods, joined the Mishmar Hagvul, and have proudly served in it until now.
In light of the events of yesterday, when the Israeli Police unrepentantly perpetrated brutality against its citizens, including repeated cavalry charges against a human chain, I would like to suggest a mass ceremony of returning Mishmar Hagvul and Mishtara uniforms to the police station. I would be willing to reinstate my service in the event that the perpetrators of these crimes are punished and steps are taken by the police to insure that such events never take place again.
I want to emphasize that I fully support the enforcement of the law. I believe that persons who violate the law by throwing bricks at policemen should be punished severely. However, the policemen who beat protesters who were not violent are equally, if not more guilty. I know that the policemen were provoked by the overall situation, however, it is the responsibility of the police force to rise above the passions of the moment, and to treat each person differently based on their individual guilt.
