Commentary:

While he visits the papal property of the pope, I think it’s time that we picked up our psalms and pray that our President doesn’t pick up his parker pen.

Summary:

Rabbi Mordechai Goldstein of the Diaspora Yeshiva was interviewed by Israel National News and outlined a number of steps being taken to protect Jewish ownership and possession of the Holy Place, including to “… increase tourism at the site, “…establish a Visitors Center on Mt. Zion …” ,”renovate the Yeshiva’s exterior…”, “hold a monthly Rosh Chodesh gathering and more.”

These steps will “… hopefully ensure, even if a new government arises and even if the Catholic Church comes back with more demands, that all the different bodies here – such as the Greek Orthodox and others – know their exact places and their rights.”

3/ To further promote Jewish interest in the area, VOICES Magazine is planning a “King David” tour of Mt. Zion and environs for this Sunday. 4/ The Fundamental Agreement Between the Holy See and the State of Israel (December 30, 1993) is a MUST-READ, particularly Article 10 which “reaffirms the right of the Catholic Church to property.”
