Kendil was tied to a number of terror attacks, and according to military officials, was planning additional attacks in the center of the country.

After months of constant bombardment from Kasssam rockets, the city of Sederot finally received a visit by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert Tuesday morning.

Olmert made the visit on his way to the Negev Conference in Be’er Sheva. He was accompanied by Defense Minister Amir Peretz and other officials.

Olmert met with Mayor Eli Moyal for 15 minutes and then continued on to the conference. read more
