Remembering Rav Kahane z’l

Remembering Rav Kahane z’l

By Moshe Burt

It’s hard to find the right words this year to commemorate the Yahrtzeit of Rav Meir Kahane z’l. These days, those of us who know his way to be Tzadek, have been monopolized fighting-off gay displays and fighting for the Torah way in Eretz Yisrael against the elitists who control the mainstream, overwhelmingly, morally corrupt Israeli institutions.

The Rav consistently, uncompromisingly and doggedly pursued and articulated, by both the written and spoken word as well as by deed, love of fellow Jew, love of Torah and love of and possession of Eretz Yisrael. read more

How the Gush Katif Expelled Are Forced to Live By Regime…

A Day in the Refugee Camp by Rachel Saperstein, Neve Dekalim/Nitzan

Excerpts;

A year and three months have passed since our expulsion from Gush Katif. We live in the refugee camp of Nitzan between Ashdod and Ashkelon. This plywood “caravilla” is not our home. In two or more years Moshe and I will once again receive our notice of eviction. As of today not one person has received permission to build permanent housing. Work is in progress on infrastructure in the upper heights of Nitzan but lots have yet to be allocated. Settlement in the Lachish area has been stalled. The hill called “Egoz” has been declared a ‘green’ area, a ‘military’ area, an ‘electrical pylon’ area. We must look for another hill. When we visit the Lachish area we see in the distance hundreds of Arab homes that have been built willy-nilly on every hill and dale. There is barely a Jewish presence in the area. Meanwhile we continue to live in the refugee camp. read more

Regime Witch-Hunt On Religious Jews Living in Yehuda, Shomron??

Expelled Yesha Jews Invited to Knesset, by Hillel Fendel (Israel National News)

The 20 Jews who have been ordered out of their homes in the Shomron for between 6-12 months will be guests of the National Union-National Religious Party faction in the Knesset today.

Some 20 men, some of them married with children, have been banned from their homes by administrative military order. The issues were ordered over four months ago, leaving the men distanced from their families and jobs.

Though no official explanation was given for the orders, it has been explained that the “murchakim” – the expellees – were suspected of activity against Arab olive-harvesters. In fact, however, most of them were never arrested or questioned about such crimes, and in addition, the olive-harvesting season lasts for only a month – whereas they were distanced for 6 to 12 months. read more

Population Transfers Not New; Previous Precedents…

Population Transfer in Perspective, Dr. Alex Grobman (Israel National News)

Excerpts;

In an exclusive interview with the Sunday Telegraph, Avigdor Lieberman, Israel’s minister for strategic affairs, said that the primary way to achieve peace in the Middle East would be for Jews and Arabs – including Israeli-Arabs – to live separately. “Minorities are the biggest problem in the world,” he claimed.

Asked if Arab Israeli citizens should be removed, he said: “I think separation between two nations is the best solution. Cyprus is the best model. Before 1974, the Greeks and Turks lived together and there were frictions and bloodshed and terror. After 1974, they constituted all Turks on one part of the island, all Greeks on the other part of the island, and there is stability and security.” read more
