Attempt to Reestablish Homesh: The Right Move Singularly?

Commentary;

Sometime on Monday afternoon, groups of religious and nationalist teenagers and young adults will attempt to enter and reestablish the town of Homesh, one of 4 Shomron towns where Jews were expelled in August of 2005 as part of the expulsion of Jews from Gush Katif.

This author questions a strategy of making this move as a singular action comprised of a few thousand people rather than a part of a wider action involving tens or hundreds of thousands or more; including numerous diversions and whether this action should itself be a diversion for a wider action, perhaps aimed at government change or at spreading the police too thin and thus shutting down the country. read more

Israeli Hypocrisy and Lack of Torah Morality: Fuel Driving Anti-Semitism?

Former Chief Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau spoke about anti-Semitism before the recent Jerusalem Conference. He cited the saying of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai in Gemora with a question and with his observations;

“A law: It is known that Esau hates Jacob” – and asked, “Why the unusual phraseology? What type of law can this be? It sounds very fatalistic, as if nothing can change it.” Rabbi Lau then explained, in the name of some commentators, that the phenomenon of anti-Semitism described by Rabbi Shimon is “akin to a law taught to Moses at Sinai, which also uses this word ‘law.’ It is something that has no explanation and is not in dispute, such as the fact that tefillin must be black and square. It is the same with anti-Semitism: you can look for reasons for it, but in the end, it’s just an axiom. This hatred is a given, permanent phenomenon.” read more

Gaza Incursion: State Security Dictates an Operation Far More Massive than “Incursion” Via an Army Committed to WIN!

Former MK and defunct Shinui leader Tommy Lapid wrote an Op-Ed piece questioning whether or not an IDF incursion into Gaza should be ordered and opting instead;

If the Hamas government launches a new intifada, we will respond with unprecedented force. Not by means of an incursion, which would merely get us into trouble, but rather by bombing and shelling and cutting off electricity and a total siege – until they take the hint.

Seems that Tommy tamborine is more concerned with what hypocritical, western distorted “morality” will say about Jews with the guts to defend themselves. And what is ‘total siege’ if not invasion and every other strategic means to bring the enemy to it’s knees with complete victory? read more

Arab, Islamic Tactics: Revenge-Rape — Feminists, Leftists Complicit?

Raping as ‘Resistance’, By Yisrael Medad (Jerusalem Post)

“Why hasn’t the feminist community addressed – or at the very least investigated – the matter of Jewish women allegedly being raped out of nationalist motivation?”

Full Text;

A good friend of mine, Edva Naveh of Sha’arei Tikva in Samaria, made an interesting observation recently concerning the gang of Beduin youths who, according to their indictment, committed a series of rapes in the Galilee area. She was struck by reports in the Hebrew media – YNET, for instance – saying that the rapes were perpetrated as a form of nationalist vengeance against IDF operations in Judea, Samaria and Gaza. read more
