Residents of Sderot expressed anger on Sunday after learning that dozens of special bus stops that were to provide protection from rockets are vulnerable to rocket attacks, and in fact could create an additional danger, as the material used in the bus stops could shatter during a rocket strike and create dangerous shrapnel. This author could have dealt with Sarah Honig’s scorpion analogy regarding the PA attempt to assassinate Olmert as one with this piece by Evelyn Gordon. Both pieces reflect specifics, pretenses why NOT to deal with Abbas, why Not to do “Land for Peace(sic).”

Years ago, a friend often used the analogy of doing things for the wrong reasons.
