U.S. authorities have discovered that an FBI agent and CIA analyst leaked classified information to the Hezbollah terrorist organization.

According to CBS news, the female agent is “expected to plead guilty to charges involving her disclosure of information” to parties sympathetic to Hezbollah, who then passed it to the Iranian-backed group.

The woman is of Lebanese background and became a US citizen through marriage. CBS says the marriage was faked in order to obtain citizenship. read more

Ehud Olmert, in his continuing futile, national self-demeaning and perilous efforts at “confidence-building” and at propping-up Mahmoud Abbas in the face of rival (spelled ally) Hamas, will release 300 to 400 more Palestinian prisoners before the Annapolis summit which is slated to begin on 25 November. The transparent leftist charade of Abbas’ “readiness for peace” goes on.

Of course these, like all of their predecessors, will have to sign that worthless piece of paper pledging that they will hand in their weapons and refrain from future terror attacks. And everybody with a grain of intelligence and common sense knows that this batch of 300 or 400 releasees, like their predecessors, will be back planning and preparing to carry out the next terror attack, rocket attack, molotov cocktail, road ambush, etc. before the ink on the no-terror pledge is even dry. read more

In last week’s Parsha Toldos, we learned about Rivka, who rose above an evil environment while internalizing it’s insights and was thus well positioned to urge Yaakov to claim the Bracha, and about Yaakov, the “Ish Tam”. We learn that Yaakov was “totally honest, a man of great integrity”, who was master over the trait of being “tam”, a “‘plain man’, … without trickery, but he did not allow this character trait to dominate him. He knew when and where to act otherwise.” These traits surely seemed inculcated to Yaakov from Rivka Imeinu’s nurturing. read more

Manhigut Yehudit’s Moshe Feiglin devoted an entire piece, The Druze Got the Picture, to the recent pogrom perpetrated by the Druse in the Galilee village of Peki’in and the true, underlying reasons for the attacks.

No, it’s not about a cellular phone antenna. And it’s not about either a real or perceived Internet slur by a Christian of his Druse schoolmate. It’s about larger Druse perceptions, as Feiglin put it;
