As this blog has declared in previous posts, since the people won’t rise up and put an end to the blundering Olmert dictatorial regime, since Olmert and his political lackeys will deny ALL failures and ALL responsibilities; so it is left to the politicians and their political cheshbonot — What’s in it for me? How can my party further the coffers of it’s organizations, further its’ power and maintain that power for a full electoral term? And so morality, justice, right, caring for one’s fellow Jews are all trashed in favor of political expediency and keeping in power easily the most evil, corrupted, incompetent, malfeasant leader in Israel’s history.

A little good news for a change; A secular banana farmer in the Lower Galilee decided to grow crops following laws of the Sabbatical year of Shemittah rather than selling his fields to a non-Jew for the year. His crops have thrived while those of his neighbors have been destroyed by the cold weather. MB

A secular banana farmer in the Lower Galilee, who decided to grow his crop according to the laws of the Sabbatical year of Shemittah, has declared that a miracle saved his crop from the recent cold wave, Yeshiva World News reported. His desire to register his crops with the Otzar Beit rather than sell his fields to a non-Jew required the farmer to agree to keep the laws of Sabbath.

The Shas party, in classic “pants glued to seat” syndrome have issued Olmert their latest lame “ultimatum” about leaving the coalition the moment “talks begin on Jerusalem.”
And if Yishai is soo foolish as to believe that Olmert will keep him “updated immediately on every concession… in diplomatic negotiations”, then we’ve got a “bridge to sell” Yishai — the Brooklyn bridge. And as sure as Hashem made little green apples…, Yishai will find out first via the media, only after slick Ehud has done his latest damage! MB

Commentary;
Back in the old country, we used to have sports pools where if our favorite teams scored so many points or runs, the one who guessed right walked away with some bucks.
Now that the Pa trial of the Pa policemen/hiker killers has concluded and aggregiously short 15 year prison sentences meted out by the Pa court, the pool now begins to see who guesses right and walks away richer as to how short the time will truly be before the murderers walk free to replicate murder and maiming of more Jews. Meanwhile, the spineless self-hating Olmert, who gave free passes to the PA regarding the killers, just stands there focused on one thing and one thing only — maintaining power and staying out of the slammer himself.
