Remembering the Past and The Challenges and Limits of Libertarianism in the State of the Jews

Annually, when we leyn Parshat Bechukotai, whether as its own Parshat or as twinned with Parshat Behar, my thoughts drift back to concerns regarding Zehut and their party platform advocating separation of religion state. These concerns were further highlighted for me with the video discussion (linked above) on Sunday, 8 May, 2018 between Moshe Feiglin and media expert Barak Moore (with whom I wrote a number of years ago on blogs: http://iris.org.il/blog/, http://www.iris.org.il/israelblog/ owned by a mutual friend).
A Kohen’s Bracha for Elor Azariya

I was looking for the best social media vehicle to convey this, and I sure hope that somehow, some way that this makes it to be viewed by Elor and his family.
Elor, you should never, ever again feel even a hint of negativity from within yourself, or from anyone that you ever deal with as to your actions that day and what you have been through subsequently. You epitomize what a proud Jew, and a Chayal is, or should be. May you only know good health, happiness in all things, success in all endeavors, Torah, Chupah and Good deeds, Yeledim — Torah, Chupah and Good deeds — ALL to at least 120 years.
