The Olmert regime-sponsored abuse, discrimination and persecution of former Gush Katif residents continues over 2 1/2 years after the expulsion. This time, it’s the Ashkelon Coast Regional Council attempting to seize the bank accounts of 500 families living in Nitzan for non-payment of property taxes regarding “temporary residential structures… exempt from property taxes all over the country.”

As we watch the time tick down to the 6 PM Wednesday release of the “final” Winograd report on the summer 2006 Lebanon conflict, there are three reports well worth reading for background as to whether or not the Winograd report will be the fatal blow to the Olmert regime’s continuance in power. Below are excerpts from each, but readers of this blog should read each report in total for possible perspectives in the days to come. Can Olmert be taken at his word? This author was asked that very question this past Shabbos in the aftermath of the Islamic mob which tore down the Rafah border. Not being aware of the existing advanced modern anti-mob technology referred to in the report below to combat mass human-wave actions, we surmised that Israel would evoke a worldwide hew and cry were Islamics shot during such an attempt to cross from Gaza and force entry into the Negev.
One can recall the threats made by Islamics at the time of Arafat’s death to bury him Mosque of Al Aksa on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

Parsha Yithro concludes with the high moment to date in world history; The Asseret HaDibrot (The 10 Statements) on the 6th day of the month of Sivan.
In our parsha Mishpatim, many basic laws of civilized existence are enunciated for B’nai Yisrael. The purpose of the Mishpatim, the civil laws, are to protect the moral fiber of society by regulating relationships between men, ecouraging truthfulness, sincerity and
kindness while condemning immorality and deceit.
Along about last Tuesday (of the week of Parsha Yithro), this author thought to question how it transpired, how it evolved that Yithro, Moshe Rabbeinu’s Father-in-Law, a former member of Pharoh’s ruling circle and one who had tried every avodah zora before finding Hashem; merited that the format for law enforcement and justice in the B’nai Yisrael would flow from him.

While the self-hating Ehud Olmert keeps meeting with Mahmoud Abbas to facilitate handing over of Jewish land: Yehuda and Shomron as well Jerusalem and Har Habayit, PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’s own PA TV continues it’s daily non-stop inculcation of it’s constituents in anti-Israel, anti-Semitic invective.
Only someone totally lacking in personal self-dignity would continue to meet with an enemy who preaches and endoctrinates its people to our destruction 24/7 while continue to bombard us with Kassams, mortars, Molotov Cocktails and rocks. MB
