On Thursday afternoon, a bus load of members of 2 Ramat Beit Shemesh Kehillot; Beit Tefillah Yona Avraham, Menorat Hamaor and their Rabbanim Rav Chaim Zev Malinowitz and Rav Daniel Myers travelled to Hevron to pray before Rosh Chodesh Kislev and to give chizuk to all living in the “Peace House” — Beit HaShalom who face the prospect of sudden eviction by the immoral, unethical, UnJewish regime which governs the Jewish State. As we came close to Kiryat Arba, we made a stop to view the ruins resulting from the regime’s Yassamnik pogrom which utterly trashed and destroyed the Federman-Tor Farm as well as persecuting the families living there. As the Yassamnikim did their detestable deeds, IDF Officers tricked a group of Yeshiva student soldiers into standing guard over the event under the guise of searching for terrorists. In so doing, the soldiers stationed on the periphery unwittingly stopped and turned back Jews coming to the aid of the Federman-Tor families telling them that the area was dangerous, that the IDF was searching for terrorists.
Below are a few pictures, as well as a video of the complete destruction which the regime wreaked upon the Federman-Tor families.
Following the brief stop, we continued on to Beit HaShalom where we linked our neshamot with those living there as well as saying traditional pre-Rosh Chodesh “Yom Kippur Katan” prayers as well as Mincha.
Beit HaShalom is the building that the regime is attempting to evict and empty of the Jewish families now living there despite an overwhelming preponderence of proof of Jewish ownership. Their methodology consists of lies and deceptions, Leftist MSM inuendo, a Leftist-agendized “High Court” and Yassamnik police and IDF billy-club bully tactics.
Beit HaShalom stands at a position of crucial military tactical and strategic importance overlooking the site where 12 Jewish civilians and IDF soldiers were slaughtered and 15 others wounded in ambush on an Erev Shabbos six years ago.
After prayers, there was a brief opportunity for the trip participants to speak and give chizuk to those living in Beit HaShalom. Next to the section cordoned off for our davening, was a Beit Midrash where a number of men and boys were learning. A few of us went in to exchange greetings with them. One of the young men is a Chattan (engaged to be married). Just outside the house, there was a Shiur going on. A number of us spoke to residents to wish them well and to express that we are one with them in their battle to remain in the House and to live on Jewish land in Hevron.
Here are a few shots of Beit HaShalom;
The contingent left the Beit HaShalom area at 5 PM and arrived back in RBS at 6PM.
Many thanks to Tzvi Gherman for the pictures from the trip as well as for putting the trip together. Thanks to Aryeh Sonnenberg and to Deputy Mayor of Beit Shemesh Shalom Lerner who heads the Moreshet Yisrael department of the city, for facilitating the bus. MB
