Commentary;
Monday evening’s IDF killing of a suicide bomber terrorist is a study in contrasts between classic truthful, to-the-point journalistic reporting, and what has now come to be known as msm; mainstream media politically correct reporting.
Notice the two Israel National News reports below which make no bones as to the suspicions, found to be confirmed as fact, which aroused the IDF to shoot to kill either in self-defense or in defense of the Jewish populace at the bomber’s possible destination.
Also notice, surprisingly, the equally no-nonsense unequivocating report posted on the Ynet news site about the “dead Palestinian who did not heed their [IDF] calls to stop; three pipe bombs found on his body.”
Contrast these reports with the tentative, equivocating, hedging and politically correct reporting, terminology and labeling used regarding this event on the most widely read international news site; The Jerusalem Post.
Herein lies a major reason why Israel’s Hasbara bumbles and stumbles along in its inconsistencies, inaccuracies, contradictions and rank incompetence and why Islam views itself as validated in its blood-libel and why the nations laugh at Israel disdainfully and with contempt. MB

A 20-year-old Palestinian carrying three pipe bombs was shot dead Monday evening as he approached an IDF checkpoint located south of Nablus in the West Bank.
At around 8 pm soldiers manning the Hawara checkpoint spotted the Palestinian as he was making his way toward them in a suspicious manner with wires protruding from underneath his clothes.
The terrorist ignored the soldiers’ call to halt and proceeded to place his hand in his pocket. At this point the soldiers opened fire and killed him. Sappers who were dispatched to the scene found the explosive devices on the Palestinian’s body.
The Hawara checkpoint has seen several terror-related incidents in the past. A week-and-a-half ago a Palestinian was caught there with a 6-inch knife. In April a Palestinian teenager was detained by soldiers manning the checkpoint after a makeshift pipe bomb was found during a search of his belongings. Sappers conducted a controlled-detonation of the device.
In another incident that occurred last November, two teens were caught at Hawara with a bag containing three makeshift explosive devices.
