Below is one person’s ever so lightly edited account of Tuesday’s protest events in Jerusalem which the regime either marginalized in the media or doesn’t want you to know that they took place;
1/ ONE JERUSALEM: Human Chain Around the Old City
There were many thousands of people participating in this demonstration of love and support for our undivided holy city of Jerusalem, though none of us participating could see more than a small group in our immediate vicinity. The crowds started meeting at Shaar Yafo, but were rather quickly dispersed as we walked farther along the walls around the Old City. First of course each participant took several gold ribbons, which were available in abundance. I stopped at one point which seemed to be where speeches would be made – and a picture in the newspaper this morning confirmed that indeed at that location there was a crowd and speeches were made from the podium – but we were encouraged to continue along and form chains at intervals all the way around the Old City walls.
At every spot where there were several meters of standing room, a large group would hold onto a chain of Israeli flags and/or gold banners, sing or just stand there and address the many passersby, all of whom were completely in support of what we were doing. After about a half hour at one spot, the crowd moved further along and joined another chain farther away. The chain was not continuous, but it looked as if there were people all the way around the Old City walls.
The vast majority of participants were teens, but a good number of adults came out despite the difficult time in the middle of the afternoon. It was a privilege and pleasure to be counted among those making up the human chain supporting Yerushalayim shel zahav.
2. HAR CHOMA: demonstration supporting continued building in all of Eretz Yisrael
The location of this demonstration was a large lot at the entrance to Har Choma. People braved the cold and rain to get there and stand in the mud. The weather amazingly cleared up just as the demonstration was to begin at 6:00 pm, the rain stopped and the sky cleared. The organizers appeared thrilled with the turnout, which included both adults and teens. It seemed as though they had not expected nearly this many people, as there was only a single loudspeaker and screen set up at the front for showing the film.
Nadia Matar enthusiastically welcomed the crowds and introduced the many rabbinical speakers, including Rav Dov Lior from Hevron, the head of the Yesha Rabbis [name?], and several community rabbis from Har Choma. A powerful and inspiring film about settling Eretz Yisrael from the earliest pre-State years to the present was presented. Ariel Zilber entertained the crowd with his lively music.
After the demonstration, trucks which were ready and loaded with construction supplies were set to leave for various locations throughout Yehuda and Shomron, to begin construction work, and many young people had brought sleeping bags and supplies to spend the night and maybe longer in those new locations. They would be fulfilling the purpose of the demonstration, to show support for continued and uninterrupted building everywhere in Eretz Yisrael.
[I left around 7 pm so I don’t know what happened after that, presumably more speakers and another part of the film.]

Excerpt;
“Approximately 3,000 activists took part in the protest, after which activists traveled to 10 sites in Judea and Samaria with building materials and began working to build two new Jewish communities and strengthen eight others.”
