Bereaved Son: If Sderot Falls – There Goes the Country
Full Text;
Sderot resident Hanan Yaakobov, whose father was killed in a Kassam rocket attack in the city this week stated, “If Sderot breaks, then there goes the country.” Hanan added it can entirely be expected that rockets from northern Gaza will land in Ashkelon and Ashdod.
Young Hanan, who this week laid his father Yaakov to rest, called on Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Defense Minister Amir Peretz to step down from their posts if they are not capable of halting the rocket attacks.
“I really love Sderot and do not plan to leave. I love Israel and if I and others leave Sderot, and it falls, the entire country will fall,” Hanan stated.
