Heads of northern border communities are preparing to observe a one-day strike on Sunday in protest of the national government’s failure to make good on promises regarding protection following the war in Lebanon.
Representing the frontline communities, Shlomo Buhbut released a statement that the funds promised to the area communities for improved security and rehabilitation following Katyusha rockets have yet to arrive.
The strike will impact area schools for a two-hour period.
