The Utter Sickness of Sinat Chinom — Israelis vs Jews …

Commentary;

Avi Dichter is just another in a long line of cheap, slimey Israeli political agendists who’s hate and disdain for anything Jewish is soo blind and all-consuming. He would walk away from a part of Israel, from any part of the Land of Israel — in a heartbeat.

The Golan, just as Gaza and Yehuda and the Shomron are part of Hashem’s divine mandate: biblical Israel, those areas which HaKadosh Borchu brought to our possession once again in our contemporary times. There is NO Divine mandate, NO Moral mandate to even hear of, let alone consider abandonment of even an inch of Biblical Israel now in our reshus.

For Dichter and Olmert, Peres, Peretz and Halutz — self-styled elitists, me-firstists, heretics at war with Shemayim — the security and wellbeing of the Jewish nation be damned.

For them, the lessons of the Lebanon War are not learned for none of them has the capacity for intellectualization, internalization to absorb anything cnntrary to post-zionist dogma. They all deny and deflect, bouncing the blame for the Lebanon debacle from one to another like a ping-pong ball with their flimsy excuses. Not an ounce of moral integrity among any of these societal moral dregs. They must be removed from office, either willingly or otherwise. MB

Dichter: Golan Pullout in Return for Peace with Syria

Excerpts;

Internal Security Minister Avi Dichter said on Monday that he was in favor of withdrawing from the Golan Heights in return for a true peace with Syria.

The former head of the Shin Bet told Army Radio, “We have paid similar territorial concessions in the past when we signed peace treaties with Jordan and Egypt.”

“Any diplomatic initiative is preferred over war, whether in Syria or Lebanon,” Dicther said. “With regards to Lebanon, conditions are even more welcoming than they are with Syria. Lebanon can today begin talks with Israel without the Syrians.”

According to the minister, “Talks with Syria are legitimate. If there is someone to talk to on the other side, we should talk. Israel can initiate this or turn to a third party.”

On the other hand, Vice Premier Shimon Peres said Monday that the time was not right to resume negotiations with Syria, arguing that Israel was too busy trying to deal with Lebanon and the Palestinians.

“I think that at the moment, we can’t take on too much,” Peres told Israel Radio. “We have the burden of Lebanon and we have the negotiations with the Palestinians. I don’t think a country like ours can deal with so many issues at a time.”

Peres said he believes its unlikely Syrian President Bashar Assad was even contemplating a return to negotiations. “The Syrians, if they are serious (about peace talks), should come and say `we are interested in holding negotiations,”‘ Peres said. “I don’t see Assad doing this.”

On Sunday, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said that constant talk of a war with Syria was likely to cause misunderstanding in Damascus.

“People do not have to warn us of the Syrian war threat on a daily basis, and on the other hand, to immediately leap forth to negotiate with the country,” he commented during Sunday’s cabinet meeting.

“Every comment of this nature brings forth a feeling that the other side doesn’t necessarily understand us in the way we would strive to be understood. We must be more cautious during this time, despite the fact that we are prepared for anything,” Army Radio quoted.

Last week Syrian President Bashar Assad warned Israel that peace was not the only way to achieve Syrian goals, referring to the territory Israel captured from Syria during the Six-Day-War, the Golan Heights.

Defense Minister Amir Peretz suggested the possibility of negotiating with Syria last week when he said the conflict with Hizbullah may have created a new opportunity for renewed dialogue with Syria.

PM Rules Out Negotiations With Syria

Excerpt;

“‘I am the last person who will say I want to negotiate with Syria,’ Olmert said. According to the prime minister, ‘When Syria stops supporting terrorism, when it stops giving missiles to terror organizations, then we will be happy to negotiate with them.'”
