Evelyn Haies, the president of Rachel’s Childrens Reclamation Foundation, located in Beit B’nei Rachel in the Kever Rachel Complex announces that there will be a Torah Reading and Prayer Vigil on Rosh Chodesh Elul, 24 August, 2006 at Kever Rachel on behalf of our soldiers fighting a Two-Front War as well as for the hundreds of thousands of Jews displaced from their homes and communities in the north by the daily Hezbollah Rocket Barrages.
The event will take place between 8 AM and 12 Noon at Kever Rachel. In addition to the regularly scheduled buses leaving daily for Kever Rachel from the Central Bus Station, there will be buses leaving from Efrat and from Maalot Dafna.
