Olmert: Conflict with Arabs Will Not Stop More Israeli Withdrawals

At a press conference in Jerusalem for foreign journalists, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said the conflict with Arab terrorists will not stop Israel from withdrawing from more territory in Judea and Samaria and uprooting thousands of Israelis from their homes.

Olmert said: “We want to separate from the Palestinians in a friendly way, but if the terrorist organizations force violence upon us, both Israelis and Palestinians will suffer the consequences.

“Despite this, it will neither interfere with nor stop the inevitable process of separation between Israel and the Palestinians in order to create two states living side by side in peace and security.”

The handwriting of events in Gaza is on the wall as clear as day, but just like Pharoah, a heart as hard as a rock and just as mean-spirited. Just dying to expel and uproot tens of thousands more Jews is what he wants to do. Makes one wonder were the Olmerts were on Pesach instead of at the Seder table, deep into their Hagaddahs . MB
