Gov’t Awash with Cash as Revenues Exceed Expenditures

The Israeli government posted an NIS 1.8 billion ($385 million) surplus of revenues over expenditures for the month of March. Since the start of 2006, the government has been running a budgetary surplus totaling NIS 7.9 billion ($1.7 billion).
Now, that’s very interesting. So why aren’t the poor children getting more? And why aren’t the retirees? and what about re-training for the unemployed? and of course the Disengagement victims?
