Soldier, you didn’t like being called a Nazi, did you? But weren’t Nazi soldiers “just following orders” when they herded Jews onto trains to the camps? When they did selectia on them; who lives and who dies? When they herded the Jews into te “disinfectant showers”, i.e. into the Gas Chambers? When entire Jewish families disappeared from the face of the earth?

And Soldier, don’t you have any recollection of the history you learned in Beit Sefer; about Air France and about Entebbe, Black September and Idi Amin Dada? You weren’t born yet, but this author and many other Jews lived that time in History and how your great Arab buddies emulated the Nazis who followed orders by seperating out all of the Israelis from the rest of the passengers on that Air France flight. Soldier, did you learn any history, Israeli History, let alone Jewish history when you went to school? And one could rattle off countless more examples of persecution of the Jews rationalized as “just following orders” over the past nearly 58 years of contemporary Israeli History as well as 3,600 years of Jewish history and heritage.

Soldier, give us a break. You are clueless and have no idea as to moral, immoral or otherwise — Israeli secular schools, Israeli youth, IDF. Enough indignance at Nazi comparisons. Immoral soldier, “just following orders.” MB

One Mother, a friend sent the following email about 6:30 PM regarding her son who saw action and was rumbled at the hands of or rather by (Wrestler Baron Michel Scicluna, Israeli-style) 24″ boots prancing on his head;

“I am proud of my son.

He tried to protect one of the nine houses in Amona with his SELF, his
IDEALS, and his TRUTH.

For that, he and others in that house with him got bashed and when they were down, got their heads stomped on over and over by the yassamnikim in their boots. For the sport. For the power. For the blood.

He is injured, and so are we all. If we know what is right, then let’s stop talking about it, let’s cease the flow of analytical words. They don’t help. They are just what we are doing to make ourselves think we are doing something.

I am leaving now to find him. No idea where he is.”

Post Script: B’H, the young man was not incapacitated by his injuries and was able to make his way to J’lem under his own power. He has some cuts and bruises to his head, but nothing outwardly lasting. However, inward, mental scars inflicted upon him by the beating administered him by Israel’s Police and Yassamnikim will linger for a long time to come.
